Don't worry Kong. I know giving badges to crappy games really isn't your fault. You're just doing as your parents told you to do (Gamestop). Maybe, one day, when your all grown up, you will be able to think for yourself and make the badge system as great as it once was. *Sigh*
Rations/Energy are a horrible mechanic for any game. In stores, they do anything to try to make you stay LONGER (lighting, music, demostrations, free food) because longer stay=more likely to spend money. I understand you want us to spend money to play, but there are WAY too many games out there and a majority of people will just simply move on rather than spend money. Your money is going to be made by long term players and it is tremendously easier to become a long term player if we are not limited on the amount of time we can play!
At first, the "Awesome!" slow down was cool, but by the end it tends to get annoying and takes you out of the action. That's my only complaint, rest of the game is great!
My only complaint about the game is the spirals. They seem to need too precise timing. If you aren't expecting them, there is no chance you can recover and you crash and burn...
Unfortunately the only great part of this game is the story. The shooter portion gets very repetitive and bland very quickly. Would definitely like to see the shooter portion improved because the game has potential. Lets hope for it in #2.
Backwards running speed needs definite adjustment and needs a quicker retry instead of having to go through his waking up sequence every time. Those are my only criticisms. Aside from that, good game, just needs tweaking.
"Void in Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, New York, Florida and wherever prohibited by law."
Point is, if you don't qualify for the contest, save yourself the time and skip this game. You can play the exact same type of game on other sites and they are nowhere near as laggy or buggy.
Clocked in at 29 hours. Didn't spend money on anything but bigger guns. Constantly repaired balloon. Way too easy unfortunately. Would have been more interesting if you could fire off your fort and the fort could take damage as well.
I just wish that losing a power up didn't make the exact same sound that losing a ball does. Throws off my concentration. How about it doesn't make a sound at all?
My only complaint is that the higher you get in level, the tougher the monsters get. The tougher the are, the longer it takes to kill them. Then you get....still only one coin.
hey legend lore, You do know that RPG stands for Role Playing Game dont you? And considering this is in flash, wouldnt this be considered a flash game? Oy, open mouth and insert foot.
The trick is, the crates are your friend at high speeds. When you start getting TOO fast (after a few times playing you, you'll figure out the sweet spot) then run into a crate and try to keep the speed at the minimum required. This will not guarantee a good run, but definitely gives you better chances. Try it and you'll see.
