The weapon's price is good. If you don't have enough money you could make etherillium rolls and sell them to Otto von Tesla. 600 Geodes + 3 Firewood make 200 Spores. Or you can go to the secret room, there are 20 gold bars and 10 silver bars, if you sell those you will get around 5000 (!) spores.
The best awlon strategy: Wait until your resources are full, then create as many drones as possible. Then warp (Instantly move all frienly units to the enemy's mothership). The enemy will lose 50% of his HP.

I have done the Goblin-Challenge on EPIC and I got 1,124,820 gold!!!! Cards: Popo (Lvl 5) with Tank (Lvl 5) and Angel (1), Cassandra (1) with Sniper (5) and Tiger (5) and Viegraf (1) with Orang-Utan (5) and Dragon (5). Spells: Meteor (1), Berserk (2), Stop (3), Comet (5), Healing (5) and Shield (5). Rate up if this helped!!!

a game is not good/bad because of badges. The badges are created by kongregate itself and rudy cant do anything to get them. This game is new and has no badges yet. You should change your rating because this game is awesome.
More useful stuff for CoT:
1. Goblins
Goblins can be used as Cannon Fodder. Send them to the Ice Dragon and it will do that ice thing. In the end it only hurts some weak goblins and the magic cannons etc. still shoot at it.
2. Phoenix Strike
The Phoenix Strike attacks all enemies. In CoT are many enemies. So the phoenix kills many enemies. And it also damages the bosses.
3. Heal
A great spell: Low Mana but fantastic effect. It can heal up to 10000 (!) HP, fully upgraded. Use this with your own Titanium Units.
