There was an earlier comment about broken prestige and I've run into the same issue, if I prestige through Platonic -> Ascent, it says I should get 2 points, but instead the game restarts completely and leaves me on the platonic screen with 0 Platonic Owned. Trying to buy any upgrades obviously doesn't work either.
Needs a lot more streamlining, most of the menus are cluttered and functionally useless. It looks nicer than the first prototype, but feels exactly the same.
of units you had at any given time, which means that basic fighters are the most useful unit bar none, not because they can deal damage, but because they can soak. Income also needs to be severely modified if you want players to use anything higher than Kick Boxers. With an ending income of around 1400, it just wasn't enough income to go any higher than that because I would lose the bodies I need to make sure no papers get stolen. Not sure what the solution is but I can safely say that in this game, the only real thing that matters is the number of your units on the screen. the grade of them doesn't help much.
Well, got 0 paper lost on Expert at last, higher class units require a major buff of some kind so they can at least unleash an attack, they're way too expensive for a unit that has a high chance (60ish% near the end I believe) of getting thrown far away and having their hp depleted to 0 before they can even attack. The only viable strategy that worked was literally maxing out the number
To clarify, I meant that on loading new levels, there's a short intentional screen that pops up saying the level number before monsters start showing up. Clicker heroes was a lot faster about this compared to this version. I don't mean easily jumping from like level 10 to 50 or something absurd like that.
Thank you clicker heroes for allowing so many clones of yourself to be made. It plays exactly the same with very minor balancing changes which at best qualifies it as a reskin. At worst, it qualifies it as another "thegames8" junk game. There's a few (incredibly) minor things I like such as the heroes needing to be beaten to be unlocked but there's so little done to differentiate itself. A toggle needing to be bough pretty much screams "get money from players" to me.
I love the new additions but at the same time I also dislike them. A week ago (the last time I actively bothered with Idle Necromancer), I was struggling pretty hard to get past the sextillions into the septillions. Now I have close to 5 septillion despite only playing around with some of the new features for about 30 minutes. It's nice to have progression but it makes me wonder about the people who bothered with the game before the additions....
For those looking to play this game like an actual game, Land is exceedingly expensive but offers the most bang for your buck once you have a reasonable amount of it. The reason being more land = more resources spawn and space for buildings to be built. Not that far into the "game" so far but each cycle of souls allows me to get about 300 more plots of land and gives me a huge increase in population and souls everytime I manage a full cycle~ It gets rather insane fast.
Thank you I will look into this.
