I like old-style JRPG’s (especially the SNES-era ones), free-roaming platformers (Metroid, later Castlevania games, Cave Story, etc), and Platform Hell games (Super Meatboy, IWBTG). But my tastes are wide, and I’ll enjoy almost anything that’s well-made and has any depth.
