Great game! Definitely a 5/5. My only complaint is the placement of the A10 link. I accidentally press it once or twice per launch and get redirected to the website.
Wow, yup. I totally missed the upgrade area. I assumed it'd pop up in between levels. That made the boss battle last about a literal 6 seconds. Thanks for that. I feel like a noob.
Level 9 keeps bugging. I click one of the blue circles to remove it, the big red ball rolls, comes to a stop. My green piece is still on the screen but it never "checks" it. So it won't let me get par. Tried it four times. Same result each time.
It's a good try for a first game. Seems to work and run the way it should. You may want to consider working on your graphic abilities or grabbing a friend to help you with them. You'd be surprised how much nice graphics will impress your audience. Once you have that down, I'd recommend and upgrade system- maybe even in game achievements. Everyone wants to feel like they've earned something.
Good job over all.
I'm stuck on level 9. I've never had a mind for these types of games. You might want to consider adding some type of "hint" button to each level for those who aren't as puzzly-gifted. Over all, I think it's a great game!
The game is fun. The graphics are cute. It's responsive, easy to play, and the challenge grows as the levels do. However, it was still too incredibly easy. I never fell below 3/4 health and there was no one part where I ever thought, "Uh oh, this is going to be hard."
I think it needs to be stepped up just a bit. Also, the falling gun upgrades (the one's that look like pills) are pointless. You grab one when it's green (for triple shot) and just don't bother collecting them after that- it won't give you anything better. It might be worth it to collect money as well as hearts and give the players a shop to purchase permanent upgrades (more health, shields, more powerful gun, etc) after each level completed.
Over all it was good. 3/5
Fun, but I agree with everyone else- upgrades would rock.
But of course, with upgrades would have to come tougher enemies. Maybe "mini bosses" that come in now and then- similar to the piranha wave. Also, while not a big deal, something you may wish to consider fixing is the "Kill them all!" achievement. The description says, "Kill 200 enemys" when it should read, "enemies".
Good game over all. I'm enjoying it.
Love these games. Can you imagine how awful it'd be though if people actually ordered that way?
"Umm, excuse me ma'am, but I specifically ordered the pickle UNDER the BBQ sauce and on TOP of the tomato!"
Art work is interesting. Game play gets boring after two rounds. The "Level Up" system adds some fun. You should add some content. Perhaps things that lower your score if you shoot them by accident, power ups that move fast, but if you shoot them you get a special ability, etc. There is also a minor glitch where, now and then, a piece of pizza gets stuck in a corner or half off the screen and just spins in circles madly until you shoot it. 2/5 until it gets some updates.
Try upgrading your weapon damage with some diamonds. It helps a ton early on. :)
