I think a way to lock speed, even just at max, would be good. When in a fight with pirates I don't like my ship standing still and I have to hold it at max speed to make myself a harder target to hit.
As we make moves the green bars light up. perhaps an easy way to undo would be to just click on the appropriate step? Is this easier to immediately implement than a separate button?
The way it works now, there's no storage of steps... and undo button would shuffle coins around the same way the reset button works, so you would end up at an undone formation, but the coins would not move backwards one step. Fixing this is a lot of work and I felt the current behavior would make the button super confusing.
your top speed is the maximum speed at which you normally travel. Speed boost is activated by 'x' and increases your speed substantially from whatever it was at time of pressing to more than your top speed and consuming 1/3 of your energy (if I have it right). In other words, speed boost works like N2O from racing games.
I also think it would be good to zoom in and out. If not then I think the cammera should be moved out, it's difficult to see ships outside of the 400-500 range mark (impossible actually).
The only problem I have is finding the destroyed remains of enemy ships. Occassionally they drop something, and in the middle of a firefight you can't quite get to it.
When the hero comes back and says "...I saw the monster and got scared so I ran away." I just feel like asking them what kind of cr*p hero they are. Seriously!
I find it somewhat disapointing that I could not undergo cell replication (mitosis) and produce a small cluster of cells, just one step closer to a multicellular organism. but it was a fantstic game, been playing it for hours now and only up to lvl 7. :) 5/5 from me.
It was a very intuitive game. Very clever puzzles which were gun to work out and not overly hard. I enjoyed it a lot. :) I also read the message to the end. Byebye.
im making the 'e' key also work in autopilot, build 23
