Simple and fun - I really like the concept, but there doesn't seem to be enough player driven exploration. It'd be cool to have a sandbox like bonus level where players might create words/levels and see what different sort of effects they have. Or perhaps the chance to collect suffixes and prefixes throughout the game and apply them to the different words they encounter during the game.
