This is the exact same thing as pitergames' previous submission, Turbo Santa. And by "exact same thing", I don't mean being the same genre, but having absolutely no difference apart from graphics. They literally just published the same game twice with different graphics. As such, the only rating it deserves is 1/5.
No graphics to mention, generic... scratch that, sub-generic maze game where all the old tricks (holding the mouse button down, right-clicking, etc.) work. Big fat 1/5 for ya, kthx.
Let's see... No goal, no opponents, no game logics (collision with the track boundaries, collision with the DAMN WINDOW BOUNDARIES, etc.)... As far as I'm concerned, not even a game. 1/5 + flagged as per "not a game".
Correction: the Z/X thing actually isn't a glitch. It's just a weird way to handle speed change. When you hit Z or X, the game goes into pause mode and displays the current speed instead of the score, so you can change it, then when you hit SPACE, it continues at the new speed. 3/5 then.
While it is a faithful rendition of a classic game, giving it a 5/5 for ANY reason is bullshit. Keep it for good, new, unique games, since 5/5 represents the best of the best, which this game is NOT. Also, cool chiptune, however, has a major bug: Z and X changes the score instead of the speed (note to dev: modifying the wrong variable, maybe?).
Verdict: 2/5
