Great graphics, very good engine and some smart level design... let down by poor game design. Over all I do think you're onto something, but maybe you should have a look at what makes games fun? Because fun is all Xany's Journey is lacking, but that is an important ingredient.
Considering my gaming laptop can play the latest games on mid to high settings with no problems... it shouldn't lag on a simple stick man game. Optimise your code.
It's a damn good game, I really enjoyed it. I would contribute to your Kickstarter, but don't you think $15,000 for the next episode is just asking too much? You need the full $15k or you get nothing... I'de rather just send you some Kreds.
$17.50 to get all the upgrades and maps... hmmmm.... usually I love the idea of developers adding kreds to their games, but I have picked up PS3 titles at that price. I think $5 or even $10 for epic ones (such as Sonny or Dragon Age) should be the maximum anyone should be asked to pay for a single player flash game.
A truly exceptional game. While the gameplay has been done before, it's never been done this gripping. Adding an excellent psychological story with a great ending was a genius addition to the puzzle platformer genre. 5/5
In all honesty, some of the level design is excellent and the difficulty level is next to perfect. People quitting are seriously missing out on a very rewarding experience.
But its really not worth 150 Kreds to continue... gameplay is lacking substance, graphics are nice but could of been done a lot better and frankly the concept isn't anything original.
When it comes to buying premium flash games, I'm at the front of the line with my wallet open... but this is far too much to ask for what is basically a generic game. 50 Kreds I wouldn't of hesitated, 75 I could agree with... 150 is a few steps too far in the wrong direction.
1) Why re-release this game? There are plenty of these already :(
2) I got an action script error. You should fix that.
Error: Error #2176: Certain actions, such as those that display a pop-up window, may only be invoked upon user interaction, for example by a mouse click or button press.

Very good!, this is the first flash game I have ever come across worthy of my money.
The Platformer RPG aspect is very well rounded, some of the level design is exceptional and the monsters are quite varied. This also introduces something very seldom seen in Online RPG's, actual challenge. The game is hard and requires patience and skill, NOT time and stats like others.
Also you get a HUGE amount of content entirely for FREE, so why people are whining about the possibility of paying for a few extras... They are morons. I have paid to join the Nidarian Guard, I am enjoying my extras, I did it out of choice rather then necessity.
Excellent game, saves work fine for me on all 5 of my machines, (remember the save file is on your PC not the net, play at work and come home, the save is still on your work machine) as a programmer i have to say the whole game is very well made.
Good game, nice graphics, only thing stopping it from being a 5 is there is WAY too much to pick up, if the screen wasnt so busy i would of rated 5 instead of 4.
Thank you for that honest and valuable feedback.
