The game is good but I am struggling ot give it any higher than 2 stars for now. At least if you didn't make bullshit excuses like "The game requires a powerful computer" (which it doesn't if it was made by competent developers) and actually tried to fix it, I could rate it higher but for now, no... just no.
Good god, the companion AI in this game is absolutely atrocious. Many times I've seen them running across the entire field chasing a single ranged enemy while being attacked by 10 melee enemies and dying in a few seconds at the start of the match. They're completely useless and it seems they only serve as a distraction so I can kill the enemies easier.
What's the deal with the beam weapon anyway. I cna shoot at enemies with any other gun pretty much with little to no lag at all but as soon as my beam weapon even touches an enemy my fps goes to unplayable levels as in, less than 1.
I love how developers are no longer ever trying to hide the massive cash grab. BTD4 was still playable pretty good, BTD5 was getting pretty clear cash grab but still it was playable even if it was a bit harder without paying money. This game though is pretty much equivalent to opening a flash file and having text in giant letters saying "give us all your money". It would be about as interesting as this game is.
Well, I only tried this out for the badges, nothing else but hey... I might just check this out more, have stuff to do during free time at work. Seems to be good enough to kill time.
