They are now out of business. Their investors backed out, leading to the company essentially closing down. War of Omens, a pet project of the developers that worked on it, is able to keep itself afloat just enough to fund the servers. Just after the company closed down the developers stayed for a couple months pushing out some last updates before they really HAD to go off to do other things. Unfortunately, no more updates are planned for the foreseeable future as a result of the lack of funding.

Merchant Guild doesn’t work right. I tried saving up 15 food to see the + 15 gold + the 1 food he gives for paying 1 gold per food and I only get like +1 gold for the food he gives and what other cards give but not my current food stock.

i was playing this game the very start. and with vestipole it was always possible (still hard) to have unlimited any resourses.i think its intetional.consider thought people dont call vestipole broken (they do call broken endazu and metris,i dont agree).

It’s called “going infinite”. Most players know about it. You collect enough resources to buy cards until you draw all ten coins. Any card bought after that will allow you to draw infinitely, given that all Vespitole cards have “draw a card” as a function. It’s built into Vespotole’s mechanics intentionally. Any resource drawn infinitely is enough to kill your opponent in one turn. The reason Vespitole isn’t broken is that it takes a while to meet the conditions. One strategy to going infinite is called “turtling” – saving resources behind ramparts and palisades – or just the low-cost palisades and serfs so that you need less resources saved to guarantee low-cost bank cards to draw out all your coin cards. :)

Also, could I have a timer warning for when I have only 10 seconds left? I often get too wrapped up in deciding between two cards and end up skipping the buy as a result, followed quickly by throwing my wireless mouse across the room.

Also, I noticed an inconsistency with Frame on opponent’s control vs Orphan Gang & Shepherd. Sometimes Shepherd fills up its shield to full before Orphan’s attack, other times Orphan attacks first(and the Frame killed my Rat :(). This may have been caused due to having a more units on my field when Orphan started activating first but I’m not sure.

I disabled active x controls thru the tools and it gave an error that flash player was missing. I turned them back on and it was back to the old error. So I tried the blue circle with line thru it to disable for that page and it let me into the game. So unless you guys fixed something on your end….that might be the solution. Feel free to reward me by opening my second store chest if it fixes it for others. ;)

Thanks for the info, this sounds similar to what some other have reported as well. I’m not sure what was getting blocked, but apparently there’s something about our website that IE doesn’t like. I’ve credited your account with 500 extra silver, hopefully that’s a reasonable reward for sticking with it and letting us know ;)
