LOL @ Monnmonn I am wondering why the Angry Squirrel isn't transitioning into "angry" mode!! The first time I purchased him, he did it every 50 balloons like he was supposed to. Now he isn't do it! :( LOVE this game though! I'll turn in a bug report
The first Frontline was better than this one, IMHO. It seemed more challenging. I didn't like how simple the game was but, it could be challenging for first time TD gamers. I play TD games a lot so this was super easy till I got to level/mission 12. I can't seem to get past wave 74 at the moment. It goes from being super easy to suddenly super difficult. It just needs better balance overall, I think.
Also, as others have mentioned, I would much rather send the next wave whenever rather than waiting and waiting for the NEXT button to light up.
The game's got great potential, it just needs a lil fixing up. :)

is it just me or is there no "save" in this game? I had levels/missions 1 through 11 complete, Firefox shut down on me and now it's having me start all over. A little frustrating but, at the same time, I'm kind of happy. I can now purchase different weapons at Warmart than I originally purchased. There should be a reset stats somewhere so that we can go back and play again with different choices.
GREAT job on this game! OOOH you need to finish this game! REALLY need to finish it! Obviously it gets increasingly harder as the levels go up. This was so much fun and I love the graphics and unique idea. 5/5!

Also, I'm struggling with 1949. how the heck do I shoot down those darn balloon?!?! The plane is easy to gas and kill but the 5 or 6 balloon?!? You can't get close enough to them to gas them. They shoot 360 degrees. How the heck?! LOL
The first thing you want to do is make sure you make a crudload of collectors. Get your energy moving really fast. Of course, make sure you get the drones power up. Then post at least 2 drone spots real close to the home reactor so that they fill quickly. Then use drones to hold back the creeper for a moment. Protect that first wall surrounding the bowl with the SAMs. Then start putting in Mortars all along the same wall that you've got the SAMs. Keep spreading your collectors out. Use LOTS of reactors also! Don't worry about the storage ones until you are pretty far in. I didn't find they did all that much benefit.
Keep the power flowing fast and strong. Keep spreading out and slowly integrate the blasters in with the mortars. Spread your collectors and reactors as you crawl ahead with your mortars and blasters and you'll catch up with that nasty creeper soon! :) Good luck!
Interesting game, it's sort of a mix between Civ Wars, Bubble Tanks and Ef.
As someone else mentioned, there's times "I" get a kill and yet my little followers seem to get the little health pieces. Wth?!
It's not a "rip off" of Bubble Tanks because your little creature does not roam from 1 bubble to another nor does it grow as it eats the health bits but it is similar in certain ways.
For those struggling with 1948 this may help. Criss-cross your 2 planes, deploying gas. Try to keep heading in 1 general direction using very mild arcs. Keep enemy planes following the tails of planes so that they fly through your gas streams repeatedly until all enemy planes are dead except for "the Wing".
It took me 4 times to deploy gas before all the small enemy planes were gone.
Then, you never have to use the gas again. Use your excess speed moves to your advantage. Turn your planes around to an initial collision course with the Wing till you get fairly close. Then split both your planes up so the Wing can only follow 1 of them. Use speed with your spare plane to fly to the back side of the Wing. Once you're behind the Wing, keep the plane moving as slow as it'll go and you'll have the Wing down in 2 or 3 moves.
The tough part is getting past the first 4+ gas deployments but once you get past that, you're home free!
Same here Chaotic. I can't get 4 stars for a couple of reasons. One pisses me off royally! I've gotten to where I almost win, just 1 plane to go. My planes are safe yet there's a brief glitch or lag in the poison and BAM my plane is now jammed. GRRRR! The other issue is what you're having problems with. Suddenly their planes take a sharp turn and get within shooting range.
I don't know if there's a bug or glitch or what, but I'll be deploying gas from my planes and not have ANY enemy planes near me and then suddenly my plane takes on damage and gun jam! What the heck? I have noticed that there's a brief break in the gas flow right as I take damage as if it glitches for a second.
Also, as someone else mentioned, getting to the edge of the map is a disaster. You have to start all over again! :/
4/5 Great idea, great game, just needs a little help with the issues mentioned.
I second Shogungari's reply. Get to the point that you can afford the poison weapon and that's the ONLY weapon you need for every single map there-after. It's very powerful and it kills all enemies. It speeds up as you upgrade so you can get the expert high scores by sending the next waves early. The poison tower can keep up quite easily and is the only one you need!
I LOVE these kinds of games where there's some challenge but not so much so that you feel like giving up after a while. I gave it a 5/5 but......(yes there's a but) it's WAYYYYYYYYY too short! :) I don't care so much about level editors because I enjoy playing what the developer provides but a 100 level version would be awesome!

WOOT! i got it. I made it to about 4,600,000 and it took me 3 tries once I got enough money to get about 40 nukes. lol Aim at a 45 degree angle, roughly and just patiently use each one, you'll get there! Good luck everyone :)
WHOA! LOL ok so I had finally made enough money to purchase the final gold gun for 400k and had just enough left to purchase the chest button. I didn't have enough to buy any nukes. Well, SOMEhow, I managed to get just under 2 million!!! Dang, if that's without nukes, hitting 3 million will be a breeze!! I earned nearly 300k in money on that one too! WOW!
