Day 125 log:
That witch came by requesting money to appease the spirits. Out of concern, I agreed. Then a ghost came around offering to scare people. I think I may have been scammed. Those strange turtles came around as well, offering cookies. They were delicious. I gave the candy lady yet more money for the doctor. Tragically, Mortimer came around demanding sacrifice. I refused him. We will pay for that later. During the night, friendly spirits were seen dancing. I suppose there was no scam after all. A bit sad my giant bunny robot didn't come around, but ultimately not needed. I haven't seen the demon in months. Good.
