It is possible to "hack" the high/low quality, by setting the quality to low for 10/15 minutes, then turning it to high. You will notice that your DPS should go up by 500-700% as the computer adjusts to the new quality. If you turn it back to low quality at the peak of this increase, it should remain there. I am not sure if this works in early game, but it is a very exploitable bug in later game, and should probably be remedied.
The game seems to be a little lacking the weapons department. I have been playing for 4 hours now and have hardly had the opportunity to get a new weapon. Not sure if weapon diversity is intended to be more end game, but I would really appreciate more weapon choices in the store to help fill out my character and have more customization.
You get a little OP in the endgame here. I would recommend nerfing the killstreak skill. It is quite easy to take out an entire castle with no army by simply adding 25% damage for each kill. I have had damage ratings well over 200000, which just isn't fair to the other side.
Decent game guys. I really enjoyed the ability to attack different limbs. This has been something I have dreamed of in a gladiator game for a while now. On the other hand, the battle sequences are very slow and tedious. The game would improve tenfold if there were smoother faster animations in the battle screen so the game could move more quickly. Another big thing that really irked me was the amount of time it took to get gold. Having to replay battles multiple times just to buy an additional slave or weapon can be quite frustrating. Overall, this game has some great ideas but it definitively still a work in progress. I would give it 3.5/5.
definitely thinking about pushing back 1 chapter of weapon availability in the store. will play around with it.
