Neat game, but the talents need serious work. It doesn't matter how many points you pour into them, the bonuses are just tiny. The movement speed and chest bonuses in particular do basically nothing.
That all the bonuses feed off each other is nice, but if you're multiplying really tiny numbers together then the effect is almost nothing. A tiny effect that occurs rarely may as well not exist at all.
I just bought a bronze mystery box, that contained a silver mystery box, that contained a bronze mystery box, that contained a bronze mystery box, that contained a bronze mystery box, that contained 12 time crystals.
Just stop deleting your game data. That stuff you're "cleaning" out of your browser is the saved data. This data never needs to be "cleaned", unless you specifically want to reset stuff like this.
And stop adding your name to the end of your posts, we can already see who posts stuff.
At first I was like "Oh, a Swarm Sim clone". I feel like I need to apologize for those thought, because this is much more thoughtful and refined than Swarm Sim.
Good job.
Neat concept, but upgrades aren't balanced. Difficulty ramps up so quickly that detector upgrades are pointless almost immediately. Assistant upgrades are the only thing that seem to matter, but their cost outstrips your earnings after just a few upgrades, leaving nothing meaningful to do with your cash.
It costs points to sell because not all symptoms are good all the time. Before infecting Madagascar, you really want to minimize your visibility, which generally means selling some symptoms.
A few of the skills scale exponentially, most don't. The ones that don't are basically useless, but it doesn't really matter, because you level so slowly you'll get bored before accumulating many points.
Great game, but holy crap what an obnoxious tutorial. The game is not so unintuitive to need this level of hand-holding. Trust that your players can figure out trivial tasks like opening the inventory on their own.
I have a hard time believing anybody finds this game enjoyable. Beat six levels and not one of the "upgrades" I bought had any impact. You should be able to tell a difference before and after six levels worth of upgrades.
Aloha ! - we're starting work on a proper sequel today - Will take this comment as my starting point for how we're going to handle upgrades.
