If you wish to continue on your savefile from Kong (Instead of moving to his site) and can't access the file due to restrictions on your computer, go to the mobile version of the game (https://m.kongregate.com/games/kupo707/epic-battle-fantasy-4). I believe this works for other games as well!
Can still be accessed on mobile version of kong, even on computer (https://m.kongregate.com/games/kupo707/epic-battle-fantasy-5) to grab your save, but this game has better ratio on his site (http://kupogames.com)
Walkthrough can still be accessed at https://m.kongregate.com/games/kupo707/epic-battle-fantasy-4-walkthrough (Mobile version of Kongregate, doesn't seem to redirect on chromebook)
Really glad we can still play this version; I plan on getting Steam account soon, but for now, it's nice to still be able to play flash games after the suposed 'death' of flash.
You might want to save the game to your PC if you want to continue playing the free version, you've only got a few days left. On Firefox that goes something like this: View Page Info > View Media > save "Epic Battle Fantasy 5.swf"
Then run it using a Flashplayer Projector from Adobe: https://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/debug_downloads.html
The only thing this game needs is a tool to mark tiles, perhaps pressing a number key while mouse is over tile? If you want to keep it mouse only, you could also add a button/bar (if more then one type of marking) on the bottom. I know about the mark first control scheme, but it is annoying to switch controls, plus you would have to mark everything again when you decide on what a tile is. Ever without this, though, this is an amazing game, and I hope you continue to develop it!
As long as the bots don't see you, they will treat you as a wall, meaning you can manipulate them into turning by standing next to them. This is very effective in turning them around in tight hallways.
I would really like to be able to change visual settings of my characters. I spent WAY to long trying to get the appearances of the characters that I wanted, paying no attention to the stats at all.
Not only is this insulting to all of those who played these games on the computer, but it Mars Tournument's second level doesn't even work properly for me. I keep getting stuck in the hole. Despite getting rid of most of the levels, you somehow managed to get the game to be broken. 1/5
Overall, this is an excellent, enjoyable game with plenty of things to do. I would HIGHLY recommend playing at least through the technical tunnels before judging this game. I only have 2 requests, however: First, trial completion should be tied to collecting any quest items in them, so that there is no way to lock yourself out of a quest. Also, there should be a we live once mode where when you die, you can reload your save, for those who want a hardcore experience, but also want to be able to retry without having to start over completely. The current version could be renamed H A R D C O R E mode, with the more casual version still being called We Live Once.
