i noticed that all idle games that all idle games that ive played have had all of the characters from the first reset. It would be nice to see new characters introduced in later resets, but i see that adding too many characters would prevent being able to unlock every singe one in a reset.

The reason 0.35 is delayed is because some work we need to do for the 0.4 update has been pulled into 3.5 (these are all just internal code changes). For example, we're changing how items are created in the code to make it much faster for us - since 0.35 will only add some bare bones items (like some +resource items for the new combat resources) it wasn't really necessary, but it felt stupid to create them with the old system and then convert them to the new system once we would change it since we already know we're going to do it anyways.
We don't really know how long the rest of this stuff is going to take. I'd say we could upload the release candidate next week but I would've probably told you the same thing last week :D A lot of stuff has come up during development that slowed us down quite a bit so we're shying away from giving any concrete time estimations.

Cash purchases are by far not required for this game - they are there to support the development and expansion of the game (not anyone's bills). The game is balanced in terms of skill, not monetary investment - and we strived specifically on designing it that way. Please feel free to post your concerns on the forum if you still feel otherwise and we can discuss that topic more thoroughly :)
I just fought a war lost 2 million troops and they lost a grand total of... 550 thousand freakn troops. How about the bigger your army the faster they die.
We'll be making your total dark knights affect battle losses and time taken to beat a battle. This is to help make resetting the game not so slow. ~Taiga
