This is the first game of this sub-genre that i've seen that is replayable. the different options really made me want to see how different people reacted, especially Gobasa's mum.
@yoshifuzz, I have to agree with you on that it executes play style well, but if you go online you can find millions of games just like this, with the upgrades and everything. There's Evony, who basically stole the idea from Ikariam. Ikariam, in my opinion, is better than both of those. Not trying to burst anyone's bubbles, it's just my opinion. Back to Ikariam, it doesn't have all of these outrageous upgrades. with it, you have to really enjoy playing games, rather that be bored and want to do something to keep your mind off of a problem you're facing. That is the difference between ionut, and me. I'm not saying that this is a bad game. I just think that there is one out there that is an original, and better. and the reason i know it was an original, is because it was produced in 2002.
I have a few comments about this game. First of all, The home screen lady must have been a prostitute, because in the ancient Roman Empire, women were not aloud to show any part of their body. Just saying. And all of the games in this genre are exactly the same, somebody needs to make some differences. Come on!
I just read Buddy's comment, and I have to say. WHAT THE HELL? Dude, since I'm nice, I will try to explain this. 1. All you have is a knife, and like you said in #4, they can see you if you're behind them. 2. If you were a guard wouldn't you investigate an area where someone just spontaneously disappeared at? 3. I don't really understand that either. But they probably don't give him a gun because he trusts his guards to protect him. 4. it's pretty obvious that they would notice a guy right behind them. Instincts yo. 5. They probably hear some noise and they get suspicious. 6. W.T.F. Dude, this is an assassin game, not one of those cheap war games. Even in Assassin's Creed they don't upgrade crap. You find it. And how would you upgrade a dagger? 7. It's called a portable radio, as some people call it, a Walkie Talkie.
these guards are about as smart as Donkey Kong, "Rather than just going down the ladder and beating the crap out of a fat plumber, I'M GONNA THROW BARRELS AT HIM!"
I like this one upgrade cannon shooter game (i don't even know) because it is a teeny bit different. You don't have an insane amount of upgeades that you can buy, and it actually has a point. You are trying to get to the end, and that is much different than other CSGs (Cannon Shooter Games). Toss the turtle takes forever and you don't really have much motivation. you just keep going.
Do people not understand that a game needs a 4.00 avg in order to get badges? if you vote down because it doesn't have badges, you won't get any. SO VOTE ON THE ACTUAL GAMEPLAY!
