I just realized the "globe" in the bottom corner shows your completed multiplier for each labyrinth. Good to know which ones you can attempt again for more experience.
I too just completed the Desert Partrol version. Guide by Kurk appears solid. I had 26 men entering the last fights. I think that about 12 died in the fights. I destroyed 4 armys before the Desert Patrol arrived.
