@ATBu Most of your advice is really solid. Personally, I run an all horse caravan and survived with 7/2/1/10 until I got horses. However, one hugely underrated stat is accuracy. It is absolutely true that all the skills under acc can be trained but they take literal hours to train up. I only have a high number of action points (tied to low agility) because I used a script to automatically unload/reload a weapon. Mercs and Volunteers can use schools to train up their accuracy weapons, you cannot. I now use my main character to draw enemy fire while better characters gun them down. This is a viable strategy but it makes the early game irritatingly difficult and leaves your main guy feeling like dead weight in the late game. IIRC, all story options are unlocked by 6 int, so a better build for my main would've been 7/2/5/6 and it would be functionally the same but I'd be able to hit the broad side of a barn with a fully automatic machine gun.
After James Bond, 2 African Dictators, and a Special Ops all died form a neurotoxin I had 1 security guard left. The cocky fellow was patrolling the bottom floors, far away from my toxins, and had killed the zombie of the last special. I enjoyed seeing the man's expression as my killer robot cut him down.
You can get a radar. It just isn't available immediately from the start. And fyi, there is occasionally a red arrow pointing towards zombies throughout your missions.
Good game to burn some time. Just tried to make my player save 30 unarmed from 1 zom with 4 companions, I won but all the unarmed died and so did all my companions.
