First of all thank you for continuing to make new Raze games! While I see that you've reduced some capabilities to make room for more abilities like with a more zoomed in view and NO health packs (sigh), could you please restore being able to use number keys to switch weapons?
LOL, this game is great! Didn't know about this game before, played it blind. When I didn't jump on the "last" light, it disappeared, gave me an alternate way out, and I made the lying narrator appear. I panicked because I thought that I wouldn't get the badge said "Don't bother getting the good ending". I thought to myself, whatever, I want to see the good end. Got the good ending after a few tries (hint, throw your last spike on the guy's face while moving)....and got the badge anyways. I was like what, and saw that there was actually just one badge to this game anyways. I see what you did there!
Since I haven't seen any comments yet, I think deflect is the best upgrade. You deflect attacks (and there are a lot of these in the later levels) and they also reduce your enemy speed! Make sure you have at least one on combo so you can still attack while still in the air then keep going from there.
Lots of fun, even though there is no badges. Please add a notification when someone has locked missiles on me! And can you please give a tutorial how to use the radar?
KieronIH was totally winning when he put down a string of fate, reducing everyone's HP to 1. And because he had the "cold" status effect....he instantly lost the game before he could do anything. Good times.
Valuable tips: (1) Pause at the beginning of every round to look at you choices and build your stuff. (2) Fighters that take down other fighters are great, but suck when there's a lot of asteroids. (3) Get rid of unwanted structures by highlighting it and pressing k. (4) Barricades are the best, cheap and protects your fragile structures (4) Upgrades: Get structure regen first for barricades and heat damage missions, then power efficiency for faster income. (5) Black hole missions mean that you only have limited time, just build one generator and as may fighters/starports as you can! + if this helps
About the bonus level Minefield II: sneak to the first corner where the mines start, unsneak, then knock on the wall when the guard gets near. As soon as the guard rounds the corner run over and take him. When you get to the last part there's a T-Junction where going down is a non-moving camera and going up is a computer terminal but there are 2 very close mines that you can't seem to get through. Wall sneak to the bottom wall, there are actually no mines there but the wall is covering it up so you can't see! + if you found this helpful.
I know it's just a game, and it says that I'm just an animal, but it feels so wrong to kill a bunch of people in cold blood just to get all the endings.
One of my biggest beefs from EBF3 was how the player was encouraged to loot everyone, including people who are barely living out an existence from a disaster OF THEIR OWN MAKING. I love how EBF4 builds up on that with the new character Anna builds up on that as someone from a village they just looted and "recruits" the EBF team lol. And nice new style on the cutscenes! Very Gekidan Inu Curry-ish.
About getting the easy badge: 1) You have to go back to the main menu to get it. 2) THE BADGE IS IN BLACK AND WHITE...I almost ended up writing a error report only to find out that the badge itself is in black and white lol.
