I like how so many people are like, “What are guns doing in feudal Japan?” and no one says anything about wizards, necromancy, mass-produced occult Incredible Hulks, and weather people.
Just so we know: in Cortes's War: Spain, you play as Cortes, yellow is the very annoying governor of Cuba, purple is the Mayans (what's left of them), red is the Aztecs, and brown and green represent various diverse Mesoamerican tribes.
Godfire, I think the fighting would be even more fun Endless War-style, with E and Q for each ally, only being able to control yourself directly if the original leader you picked was defending the town. In fact, add that to all battles. More strategy, less luck.
I've made the Khan map series and the Caesar map series, and am currently working on the Napoleon map series. + if you want any more. - if you want the madness to stop.
To add to that: Nagasaki, the southwestern end of Japan, is also very good, in my opinion better than any other spot. So: Nagasaki Empire Completed! For the sequel: On to Korea and China!
I used to hate this game until I figured it out: It's pretty easy actually. 1. Start with a nation with one access point, like Hokkaido, the big northern island, or Okinawa, the small southern island. 2. Build up your army. Invade when they are weak, and have lots of offensive units like knights. 3. If your army and an opponent's are equally powerful, chances are, YOU WILL LOSE. 4. Use strategies, don't be shy. You can't run out. 5. When in doubt, defend! Armies are inherently stronger on the defense, and add that to whatever defensive buildings you have and you're probably golden. 6. Skeletons are pretty much worthless, and are a waste of space in your territories. Try not to use them. 7. A useful strategy for attacking rivers: archer/defender combo. 8. For forests: knight/defender combo.
He repeatedly uses the two non-fireball spells until he runs out of mana, and uses them as soon as he gets enough mana to use them again. It's rather hard to work with that.
Here's an idea: For your new nation, have a customizable flag. Also, you may choose to command a mission by sending your original leader on it, and controlling the troops.
There should be a "Galaxee Empires" mode, in which each team has a number of planets and soldiers, and each planet gives resources each turn. Resources could be spent on weapons and new recruits, and your guys would gain accuracy for each kill they got. + if you like the idea
