I should amend my previous post to say that profit multipliers are multiplicative, not additive, so they can become quite powerful (meaning a 2x and 3x profit bonus mean 6x in the end, not 5x). I actually ended with factories being my most profitable buildings - it definitely required a little math to be most efficient.
With that said... this game was amazingly uninteresting. There is almost nothing to do but watch counters tick for weeks on end (whatever the devs might say). I have both badges and I am now out of here for good.
Advice to my fellow badge hunters:
1) Settle in, this one will take a while
2) Make sure to collect the daily reward and daily code every day, and save your holybars for instant fee collections
3) Spend efficiently. Labs are your primary moneymaker, not much that doesn't improve their production is worthwhile. Invest your money in labs (mostly) and farms (some). Invest your food in tech gathering rate. Invest your tech in increasing lab speed (yeah, it takes a lot) and some in farm speed.
4) Don't forget to collect your fees, especially when you save enough holybars for an instant claim fee and don't have to start over. The manager bonuses will REALLY speed things up.
I'm almost done myself and these tips made a huge difference. + if they help you!
I can't give this a very high rating... a lot of it is just trying again and again until the guards and target move in a way that makes the assassination possible.
To my fellow badge hunters:
This pretty much feels like every other MMO CCG on this site - not much that distinguishes the gameplay. The badges (even the hard one) aren't actually that hard to get - I started with Brian and spent all my Giggywatts on upgrading Lois, Chris, and cards that they combo with (Sports for Lois, School and Costume for Chris). Had all three badges within 24 hours without spending any real money. A lot of the time winning or losing comes down to what order your cards come up in, so don't get discouraged too quickly.
Now that I've got the badges, I'm outta here. + if this helped you.
Note to the developer: PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE split resetting the whole level and resetting to the last checkpoint to different keys. I have accidentally reset the whole level about 10x during the course of playing this game, and it's awful.
Pluses: Very good game concept, interesting expansion on the original.
Minuses: Holy cow, is it poorly implemented. The lag issues are pretty bad, but I've also encountered invulnerable enemies, loss of control, and unusable buildings. I've lost count of the number of times I've died because for encountering an ill-timed bug that stopped me from repairing, healing, or simply caused me to lose control and skid into a patch of mines.
You can do better than this. I'd like to rate it higher, but the above-mentioned issues mean I can't give it better than 3/5.
One of the few games on this site that I just could play over and over. Brilliant gameplay, entertaining, and production. Really reminds me of the Mario-style games of my childhood. Brilliantly done, and keep up the good work!
Very interesting game, though I agree with the others who say that at higher difficulty, it's really more about getting fortunate rather than playing a certain way. The concept and system are among the best I've seen, only complaint is the difficulty.
I FINALLY got the hard badge and it's probably the most satisfying hard badge I've ever earned. If you haven’t done it yet, it helps a lot if you pick your city carefully. You want plenty of farms and suburbs/apartments/trailer parks, a hospital and a lab are helpful (complete the zombie innards research track first). Expand as fast as you can, high population is key, but you need to feed them or your happiness falls. Also, try and minimize the size of your walls, as this will help keep down the number of surrounding zombies (build in square-ish patterns and towards the edge of the map whenever possible). Throw parties when you can, don't forget to reclaim churches and bars, and keep your fingers crossed!
I had a lot of fun with this. I played Burning Hill and Chaos Desert, and Chaos Desert was a little too easy. Still, the number of different abilities makes for good replayability. 5/5, well done! Make another one!
Everyone seems to be having trouble with it, but I ended up very quickly with just the bouncing ball game and got the 5x multiplier hard badge on the first try. It varies between too easy and just about undoable, but really didn't capture my interest, so I give it a 3/5.
I don't normally enjoy this style of game very much, but I enjoyed this one. Well animated, well constructed, though a bit simplistic. I give it 4/5 because I thought it could have been a bit more challenging (a bit too easy to level up and once you've maxed out your troops it becomes pretty easy). Overall though, well done.
Played this on another site a while back, came back and replayed it here... still love it. I love that you actually put some thought into the backstory AND made a good sniper game out of it. Well done! 5/5
Fun little game, though if you've beaten the first game, this is pretty easy. For me, it didn't really get challenging until the 19th level. Still looking for the next installment!
I think this would be good for younger kids, though I didn't find the puzzles very challenging myself. Difficulty aside, though, well animated and constructed, though.
I rate it 3/5, because I liked it, but I thought it was pretty poorly presented. To me, this is what results when a developer doesn't get enough input on a game before it is released. I found the interface unintuitive and uninformative, and what's with all that lag while fighting the final boss? Not a bad game, but could have been so much better.
Beautifully done art. A very simple game, and it does that well, but I would have liked to see the puzzles be a bit more challenging. However, it does what it sets out to do very well. 4/5
Great game. I had a lot of fun with it. Simplistic, yet appropriately so, and just varied enough to stay interesting. I thought the end boss could have been tougher and different than other battles, but still, I definitely enjoyed it. 5/5
