Steam version will be out in 1-2 weeks. Go here if you want to wishlist it, which will have Steam send you an e-mail the minute it releases:

Please note: if you've been playing the WIP/preview version of the game, your saves *do* carry over. Just hit the Gear in the top-right corner of the game to open the export/import menu. Be aware that you'll need to be logged into Kongregate for it to work. If the import fails, ensure you're logged into the same account that you used for exporting.
This 1.0 release has three realms now. As with the WIP version, I'm going to continue actively developing this one, so please give all the balancing feedback you can. And the next expansion is planned for a couple of weeks from now.
The next expansion (Underworld) is done now, just doing a little more balancing before uploading. Expect that to go live (and version 1.0 of the game with it) within the next couple of days. Note that the game will live at a new URL at that point, but I have a save exporter/importer ready, so your progress will carry over.
Nov. 18 update: the new expansion is live! And the game has a new build. See the "Updates" tab here for a link to the new version and instructions for migrating your save data over.
News: still working on new expansion. Plan is to have the "1.0" release of the game at that time, roughly 1-2 weeks from now. The game will be available on Steam too (the page is up now if you search for it), but fear not, Kongregate will always be the priority. I plan to keep adding new expansions regularly even after the 1.0 release.

Thanks guys for the bug reports, I just pushed an update that should fix the upgrade issue. Also this update (as part of that fix/workaround) makes things slightly nicer in that it's combining cards instead of destroying them, so if you have 10 cards and upgrade, you end up with 1 instead of 0.
One of the most requested features is here now: card upgrading! Click on a card, then click Upgrade. This will consume extra copies of the card, in exchange for doubling the card's power each time. This multiplies exponentially, so for example, a card that's been upgraded 5x (to Level 6) will be 2^5=32x as powerful as a Level 1 card. As always, this may require some balancing, so I'd like to hear your thoughts: is doubling the power strong enough to make upgrades useful, or should the power scale higher (say, make the power go up 10x per upgrade instead of 2x)?
Thanks everyone for your feedback on the new expansion so far. I'm already hammering away at the next update to address balance changes and to add the most frequently requested features (card sorting, and saving grid layouts). That should be going live tomorrow afternoon unless something goes terribly wrong. After that, I'll be adding the Upgrade feature, and then starting on the next expansion.
Things went ahead of schedule. Those features (card sorting, saving grid layouts) are in place now. :) Various balance changes too: Cataclysm, Investor Imp, Investor Dog are a little less OP.
New content coming tonight at 9 pm central: the Haunted Woods expansion. There's a ton of new cards, so I suspect they'll be very unbalanced initially, but I'll be patching every day to balance things out.
Quick status update: still working on the next batch of content. Could be out as early as tonight if things go well, otherwise likely tomorrow. "Ascension" is being renamed: it'll say "Unlock the next expansion: Haunted Woods". Haunted Woods has a 4x4 grid, two resources (wood & iron), and its own, completely new set of cards, featuring some new mechanics and some familiar ones.
New build coming very soon. I have it ready, but Kongregate's website is bugging when I try to upload for some reason. Hopefully that resolves soon, and I'll get a new build up early in the morning if so. New build has a lot of balance changes, bug fixes (meteor, golem), a new Tier 2 card, and introduces a rarity system that makes the best cards drop a little less frequently. Also (to compensate for that) reduces card costs. Tier 2 cards become much more powerful as well in the upcoming update.
Thank you all for your feedback! Tons of great suggestions here. I'll be working tonight to get a new build out with as many of the improvements as I can, especially the bug fixes & balancing changes (lowering the cost of Super Packs from 50k to 10k, and beefing up their stats a bit). Should have something up by 9-10 pm central time tonight.
The Firefox issue should be fixed now, making the game playable in both Chrome & Firefox. Haven't tested Internet Explorer because lol @ Internet Explorer.
