1st Boss is fu-cking retarded. No way to tell the progress you are making because the boss health bar doesn't stay consistant. No grace period after you get hit, which enables you to be bounced in a corner, taking 4-5 hits because of one screw up. Boss is boring and repetitive. Doing the same thing over repeatedly is fu-cking stupid, not fun. (decent storyline though, from what little I saw.)
This is a really great game, besides the fighting being SHIT. The pet makes the player miss frequently by pushing the enemy of out an attack. It is also NOT consistent at all when trying to hit an enemy. Sometimes they can obviously be in range and because of a slight angle somehow avoid all damage. Great game, bad fighting.
This game was good at first. No glitches, good controls and handling. Even the starting over when dying was ok at first. But after I got further into the game, having to start over everytime you die made this game shit. A good idea might be to have a scored mode, where you have to restart everytime, and a free mode, where you just lose a level if you die. Or possibly incorporate a life system, where you can pick up 1ups and not have to restart the entire game.
This game obviously takes alot of effort and I commend that. There are a few things that could use improving though. It is unconsciously pleasing to have menu items respond with movement or some kind of visual feedback when you hover over them. Some menu items in this game do, most don't. The intro is also not very interactive. There is boring contextual introduction but there is not attachment to the hero's in the game or any type of motivation for the player to achieve their overall game in the goal (ridding the land of evil and whatnot). Try to make the game more engaging, possibly with conversations between you and the hero's or some type of meaningful story. It would greatly help the experience.
