It'd be nice if we could refund cash put into any upgrade in the event of a mistake being made (as it is I just wasted about 15k on missiles that I wanted to put into lasers [it also doesn't help that the missile and laser icons look too similar at a glance, maybe change the surround?])
I actually bought this game on Steam just from seeing that this wasn't the full game. I loved it so much that I decided to have a look at the 'demo' version and was surprised to find that the 'demo' is actually a series of unique puzzles not found in the 'full' game yet weren't any easier or less fun. I cannot begin to praise the game more; and those who enjoyed this demo, please go and buy the full game, you won't be disappointed!
I'm actually enjoying this, planning different layouts of walls and towers. My only real problem with the game is having to click on each wall piece individually, it'd be nice if we could group up multiple wall pieces and upgrade them together; an ability to repair them would also be appreciated ^^
Could use more missions to help with upgrade costs after wave 30. I 'finished' with only 1 mission left but waves only award 3000 coins at best so buying an upgrade at 14000 coins is pretty insane.
It's interactive as much as a flash movie is interactive, both require a single mouseclick but neither require further interaction via this website. Whether the game is playable elsewhere is not the issue, it's not interactive here and therefore does not qualify as a 'game'.
I see where you are coming from, but let me ask this, would a general user of Kongregate get more enjoyment out of making the choice to open a new tab/window (without leaving Kongregate) to play a good game, or staying on Kongregate to play "Let's dress up Angelina Jolie?". There are plenty of other games on here that also require a single mouse click. Like all those "maze" games where you just move the mouse cursor. You can honestly say people prefer that over this? Because people don't get worked up about those like they do this. I am not saying there aren't plenty of great games on Kongregate, just there are real bad ones too, and people tollerate them. Also, it clearly says the game is on another site, so people may choose if they want to go or not, if they don't like going to other sites, they can choose to go play another game just like they would with any other game on here they don't like right?
"First, it must be a game. Kongregate does not allow Flash movies, regardless of how great they might be. There has to be some level of interaction with the player.
Most importantly, uploaded games (including all components of games, such as audio) must be your original work or work you have permission to upload from the owner. Kongregate has absolutely no tolerance for uploading stolen content. Violators of this policy will automatically receive a one-week ban without warning on the first offense, and a permanent ban on the second."
I'd say you violate both of those. The game is not playable here, there is no interaction via THIS website, and second you do not own the rights to Kid Icarus no matter how much state that this is SUPER Kid Icarus. Though if that works I could make a mint selling copies of Super Sonic the Hedgehog.
You mentioned making a mint, however this does not and will not seek to profit. The sprites, tiles, music, sound effects and programming are 100% original. The name "Kid Icarus" is property of Nintendo, you are correct. Hopefully Nintendo sees it and decides to put it on the Wii. The game is interactive, you can click and actions occur correct? Have you seen "Pokemon Battle Royale?" Its another game on this site, and I doubt they have rights to Pokemon. What are you going to do about that? Here is the link to help. http://www.kongregate.com/games/Girlfart/pokemon-battle-royale-beta
Have you also seen "Homer Simpson Saw Game?" Its a game on here, how is Kongregate's tolerance for that game? Here is the link;

working walkthrough, game isn't terrible but lack of descriptions for items and some horrible pixel perfect combinations make it frustrating. 3/5
You can hold shift to upgrade all walls of the current level :) Try out the tutorial!
