Game comments and reviews

These "Send X to the market for completing orders there" dailies need to be removed. I've been cancelling every order that does not ask for the required item for 12 HOURS and I've only sold 4 out of the 5 that I've been tasked with. So with no orders to fill, I'm gaining pitiful crafting xp, and not nearly enough gold from my shop to pay for the FOUR THOUSAND COIN house, as required by one of my other dailies. In short, these dailies only serve to hamstring the game; a job which is performed more than adequately by crystals.

If I didn't want to pay for this game the first time it asked, why the hell would I want to pay for it the third or fourth?. Please learn the difference between promoting a game, and begging people to buy it.

There's a difference between making a game challenging, and making a game frustrating. The radar is horrible, the red dot for the blimp is WAY too small, as is the lightning bolt. The icons for fuel, money, and repair are way too large compared to the actual size of the pickup. The damage makes no sense whatsoever. I can ram directly into a plane and spin around a few times but otherwise survive intact, or I can barely graze it with full health and lose my boosters & body section. Furthermore, did you even PLAY the missions yourself? Obviously not, or you would have noticed that with a ship upgraded to full tier-2 capacity, built for low weight and high power, can barely make it halfway in the Cargo 2 mission.

so this little robot knows how to build an automated repair/refuel station, a teleporter, and a scientific research facility... but it doesn't understand the concept of a wheel without discovering buried artifacts.

This game is a prime example of why you SHOULDN'T automatically rate 5 on a popular dev's game before you even play it. While jmtb02 has put out many games ranging from enjoyable to awesome, this game simply fails to live up to the legacy. Between the numerous, obvious bugs (like not being able to leave the dressing room without jumping, the hamster room bugs out if you set hamsters on fire and press the button, throne room bugs out if you load from a completed save and hop on the scale), and the seemingly random credit on some achievements (mute, safe spots, pausing, etc), this game is left with a level of sub-par quality that I would have never expected from you of ALL game devs, and leads me to ask: Did you even play this game before you uploaded it?

How do I get the red powerup? You know, the one that turns MY nerve cell into an utter douchebag.

I found this game to be absolutely unbearable. Not only is the AI completely horrible, but the collision detection as well. I would miss an intercept by less than half the distance that opposing players caught them. The only actual gameplay in the few seconds it takes to run out of energy training, or the few seconds in a match when luck lets you have / intercept the ball. Speaking of the matches, did you really think it would be entertaining to listen to the same exact sound clip of a crowd cheer over, and over, and over again? Also, I mentioned the energy bar. This is by FAR the worst aspect of the game, and needs a major overhaul, if not removed completely. As it is, it's nothing but a hindrance, as it drains far too rapidly to maintain whilst training, and playing games.

Whiskey and Red "Bison" Make you run faster? Oh, I get it, there must be a bathroom behind all those people.

I enjoyed the game, but it would be helpful to know what frost/fire/poison damage does exactly before wave 10. Especially Frost damage, which is extremely helpful early on, when the shadowdemons pump out minions faster than you can kill them. (For those who are curious, Frost: Stops enemy minions and reindeer from moving and attacking ... Fire: Enemies caught on fire take extra damage from all attacks ... Poison: Deals damage over time.

The game itself isn't bad, but the level design is a big detriment to this game between the timing, and the extremely small margin of error. While possible, I found trying for gold medals more infuriating than fun.

400k for the hard badge?? How is that even possible? The random placement, and rapid onset of the ramps makes it difficult to do chain jumps - even using the rail as a safety net. On top of that, the "bonus ramps" like pilot mode, and ruby, get passed completely over 9/10th of the time. Thus, you have to choose between a mediocre score via stunt chaining, or a mediocre score by dodging normal ramps. Shouldn't I be getting rewarded for maintaining a 10x multiplier, instead of having to pass completely by big points, or break my combo to get them? In short: Jumping a bunch(the only way to score a point multiplier) causes you to miss all the REALLY big points,

Developer Reply

Every highscore in the top 100 for today is well over 400k, so yes it is very possible. Read some of the tips the other commenters left, it just takes a little strategy. It wouldn't be much of a hard badge if it was easy to get.

Arkandian Revenant

"Revenant takes everything that made Crusade great and expands it to a whole new level" Sorry, but no. In this game, you fight the same enemies, with the same weapons and abilities, in the same style of dungeons as the last one, and you didn't fix a single flaw. This doesn't feel like a sequel, it feels like a "player's pack".

This game could have been amazing, but you ruined it with the same old "match 3" crap we've been force-fed for years.

Don't take this the wrong way, edok, but this game doesn't deserve as high of a rating as it has. The artwork is basic at best, the coding could be done better, the clips are too short, and that "More specific" demon voice doesn't fit in with the game at all. Please polish this game up, until then 2/5

The medal you earn should serve as an EXP multiplier, such as 0.5 for failure, 1.0 for good, 1.5 for excellent and 2.0 for brilliant

This game is very well done, I give it 4/5. Although, not to nit-pick, but everywhere but Goldshire, you've listed the name of the entire zone. Goldshire is a town in the zone Elwynn Forest. Also, 2 of the zones are spelled incorrectly: Dun Morogh, and Zangarmarsh. Finally, a few suggestions. 1) Clicking the Talents button under Actions while your talent screen is up should close the talent screen. It's useful to check and see if you have unspent points, plus it will give the interface a more familiar, WoW-like feel. 2) If you can duel your friends, how about tackling dungeons together? 3) this last one is more of a plea, but can we get some Horde up in here?

I loved the Ultima graphics, I loved the progression of the game, I loved the music, and I loved loved LOVED the reward for finding all 31 items (You can survive the "Effect: Death" Item by using a potion before your health reaches 0). Best ending EVER. Creating a game like this on 2 weeks is nothing short of impressive. 5/5, and I look forward to seeing more of your work.
