I like this, long as these games are quality (no worry there yet), these games will continue to tap into that part of us that would like to upgrade our lives ;}
GG berserk studios. Your bug fix with the videos still doesn't work...refreshed the vid once, and lost all of my skulls, and some of the upgrades...all 18 mil skulls in total.
Chrome has officially shut all Unity thing down, can't even find a way to enable npapi anymore, and it was before, dunno what else ta do, but figured I would post this to open up discussion on it
Played this thinking it was a dungeon-crawler continuation of Sentry Knight. Pleasantly surprised that it is not. If Sentry Knight is going to be better than this, it has some work to do, and is going to be a phenom piece.
Evidently if you give your companion a grenade launcher, everything away from you flies apart into piles of boom-goo. I am sure rocket launcher works as well, just don't think she has earned one yet ;P
Damn it! from 3rd mission on, about, I keep getting trapped in nests buried under blood pools, burnt explosions, or hidden in the dark. Does not matter HOW big of a berth I give it, I get close to one minute bit of topography (any) and the only path I am able to take is closer and closer into the middle of the nest until I am stuck in the middle and unable to get myself out!
The monotony is, by itself, a let-down; the fire themselves are shown to show that the infrastructure is falling within, and numerous fires within are pouring out (i.e. timbers within are falling out of windows and lighting carriages on fire, barrels and casks are exploding to effectually be grenades, such like)
love how the diff/same ratio hasn't destroyed the game, though I think some of the achieves are only obtainable if you pay for the premium things, still an awesome game, from easy-epic (still would like to 'unlock' harder modes by beating the easier mode before) 500/5
I wonder at the health of my crew...Dr. Casimir shoots a dart into Ysabel's eye, she gets healed. Yet, if someone cuts her hair, she takes damage. Still Love the Haiduken-style attacks with corpses.
I love (as in Chapter 1) the fact I can defeat an enemy by repeatedly tossing its/mine own allies/enemies once the bodies stop moving by their own will. Midoken Party Favors!
On the tactical battle, maybe have a hover-over display that says level/health/swirly-vortex of an enemy/ally, and maybe a name/rank/title (I am just thinking of having a soldier-demon I could name bunnikins, or an angel called grillburger) or maybe finding other races as soldiers, like beholder, ghost, dragon-ish, or goblin.
I like most things in this game, over 2. The only things I would niggle over is: have the observation skill aid in certain skills, artistry, or defense possibly; the other would be, instead of having everything in the same box, have a different chest for different things. I.E, hostages could be a 'bunny-in-a-circle', a spell/journal quest target would be a book, story-line objects could be a person (like in the title image, the black orby-headed one) and other-types could be the usual chest.
In all earnest, I was having a think on the concept of wiki V library. My thought, odd as it may seem, have it develop as the player progresses, either as its base progresses (i.e. the bigger the house, the bigger the library) or, it develops as the player itself develops (the character puts in a journal/diary what things do, how certain status effects change the enemy, and what is good or not for any martial forces used, if any)
Anyone else want a white-noise machine that only plays the thousands of ways a zombie dies...including its last sounds it makes....mebbe it's just me....
Oh also, thank you for allowing me to exact vengeance on all of those caster guys in Sword of Vermilion. Damn things loved swarming me and shooting things out in circles...now it is MY TURN! (insert maniacal laughter here)
