this is absolutely not how you introduce concepts within the first literal 20 seconds my head is spinning, if i wasnt bored out of my mind and on kongregate in 2023 id have clicked off by now
its fun enough, but there is no intuition over how the block moves in the main puzzle. On it's own that's fine, but coupled with every move taking a whole walk to and from the various tablets really put a damper on the exp as a whole. I felt roadblocked every time, it just took so long to figure it out that i trial & error'd it, simply because i didn't have enough freedom to figure out the rules of the block.
it seems relatively easy to stumble your way into the answer, as if you flag blocks at random theres a decent chance that it will grey out the clues. the problem wtih that is it will ONLY grey out the clues when its part of the solution, so a combination of flags that technically fit the criteria of a given hint, but are not the combo you need for the full solution, will not grey out a hint. honestly i might be missing something, but it just doesnt make too much sense
Idk if you intended it, but the visual tutorial for controlling multiple kitties at once was really creepy. Like, in a good way. Just walking down a corridor and seeing a second Steve mirror my movements reminded me of the SA-X in Metroid Fusion, and then the very next room having like 12 dead Kitties was just chilling. It was awesome. The whole game has an uneasy atmosphere and i loved it.
Thanks! And the game wasn't meant to be really unsettling, but I guess it can be at times.
