The frog is going way too fast to the bottom when you click. It means that whenever the frog is, when you click, it will hit whatever is below it, thus making it very easy. You just need to keep mouse coursor below the frog and click every leaf that comes under it.

Very nice game. Took me 241 turns to win on my first try. It's all very random, but once you know what to do it's just a matter of time when RNG will let you use your strategy. I really don't know why the game is rated so low. There are probably just many kids around here, so don't worry about it. The game is good.

The game is super-easy. It really needs a way to prevent spamming goldmines (for example each next building/unit of the same type costs more and each next goldmine give you less gold). Currently there is one, very simple way to win - build as many goldmines as fast as you can (use all your money at first to buy mines, in each level, then build some defenses, then build mines so you have 3-5 in each row). Use upgraded mines only on the special places (and at the beggining only if there is no more then 2 such places, otherwise it's better to build the first level mines). In first levels the best unit is mage, just make sure to have something in front of him (barricade or other unit). Later, when you get to the dark mages, switch from mages to cavalry units. Additionally at start you can use some archers to save money.
