Pros:
Best game play of any flash game of this genre.
Reminiscent of X-Com.
Descent, if predictable, plot.
Cons:
Obnoxious characters and music.
Suggestions:
More RPG elements, like selecting what stats to upgrade and a bigger selections of weapons and armor. Right now it feels too much like you're on rails going through the motions.

Would have gotten 5 if not for the truly awful characters. It's one thing to play villains or quirky personalities, but these were tiring. Characters constantly angry and yelling at each other are not fun. I did like Vadim's dialog, however.
And since when are you limited to how much water you can collect,l but not how much gas? And in what Universe can metal be broken down into fuel? This game, like so many other "time management" games only gives you the illusion of accomplishing something. With the exception of the occasional resource run, you're not actually doing anything skillful, just fooled into thinking you're good at this. I've wasted enough time with this thing hoping it would turn out to be fun, but it's just another time vampire like all the other FaceBook "games." I'm going to go do something useful - the dishes.
I just realized how much fun I'm not having with this "game." I could be doing so many other, more fun things, like reading a book or playing an actual game on Kong, but no, I'm tending to my compound like it's Farmville. In a real game, you could assign some of your people to tend to crops or collect water. When bullets are magically found lying around they would be put back in the armory instead of dropped on a tarp. In a real game you could expand your compound, build as many barricades as you could afford, build a huge farm, collect hundreds of gallons of water, and not be limited by arbitrary rules. (cont.)
Just bought the full version. Totally worth the $5. I don't knock a developer trying to make a buck, and 5 bucks is well worth a game of this depth. I've played plenty of TD games with less content than this demo. Well done, Level Up Labs - enjoy my money!
