Edit to last comment: Figured that he can't be beatable as that would jumble the game, but the other stuff still applies.

Either there should be something saying the first enemy (guy with the monocle) is unbeatable, or better yet, make him beatable. Or even make it harder to dodge his attacks. I was there for about 10 minutes fighting him... -.-
