Good game in all aspects, and a fresh approach to the "monster rasier" genre. Could use a little polishing around the edges though:
1) change the color of a stat once it has been maxed (maybe gold?)
2) when equipping items that raise stats and maxing a stat, the game becomes confused and forces the stat lower to match the beast's natural max. Not sure how to fix this, but its a minor bug
3) Make the clickable "farmable" objects bigger
4) Make the "farmable" objects move less slowly across the screen. Endgame its fine, but in the beginning it can be a pain to grind
Other than those small issues, this game is VERY well done. Would like to see a sequel with more monsters, more areas, and small changes!
I understand adding a little difficulty with the ingredients moving around, but seriously? My chef has ZERO fine motor control! WIth arms as ripped as his he should be able to stack a burger, upon a burger, all the while benching the entire saloon! Fun game minus the shaking during the burger build. Would love an upgrade to minize it, or see it gone for good. 4/5
I love this game! Everything about it is well done, but the sticky-ness of the wall jumping really gets annoying sometimes. You should have to press against the wall (like with the arrow keys) to stick, and if you wanted to fall normally release the key. Sometimes obstacles that shouldnt be hard to avoid, really nail you when stuck on walls. Other than that, this game is perfect imho! 5/5! Make a second!!!
I love this game! I was immediately sucked into cookie clicker for weeks with my roommate and we got to the point of playing it on his computer whenever we had time. This one is a fantastic start and has a lot of potential to grow to something even better! Suggestions to improve this for me would follow most of other people's comments, but also making the stars fly by faster as you upgrade to the point of glowing little "hyper-drive" lines (like star wars style!), re-balanced upgrades, upgrades for each category rather than mixing the two (though I do like some hybrid's of the two! Maybe do both, or enable other upgrades based off of both categories, while keeping them individual. Miscellaneous things!), and more awesome dialogue! The crew idea was very cool, and seeing the ship's insides get upgraded too would be sweet! 5/5 on this, and if there is a sequel, I'm already feeling a 6/5!!
Radar, star magnet, design changes as you upgrade, birds that aren't 40 times your size.... all of these things would take a good game and make it much better. It needs some fine tuning to make it great, such as more lateral speed and faster money gain. With it the way it is it just feels that you aren't making progress even after you continue to buy upgrades. SO with no reward of playing for awhile to make any progress, it gets VERY boring. Still, 3.5/5 and the potential for a 5/5
Very fun game and such a simple concept! It took a couple tries and learning some tricks (poison immunity, killing spree on lvl 2, and general tactics) but it was very enjoyable and just the right length to stay interesting and "force" me to beat. My high score is a 61
Is there anyway to download the music for this game? I love the title track and pretty all of the rest as well. An extended title version would be awesome as well!!!
I have been a big fan of the into space series ever since I played the first, but this well fell a little short of my expectations. I think it has become entirely too "grindy" as it takes very very long to make any notable progress. I think the issue with this is not so much the pricing of upgrades, but rewards from completing missions and height rewards. In IS2, the "height milestones" gave just the right amount of cash to progress smoothly and to those who had impeccable runs, would be rewarded handsomely. I've also noticed that the scale of power of each engine/head is MUCH lower than previous games. With a new engine costing 3000 candy, 5 extra power is really not worth it compared to the same price from other games, and a 100 power boost. Overall, nice game but the second is still the best imo
Good game overall but it could use some tweaking. For one, make challenges available and completable from the start. It gets incredibly redundant and tedious to complete only up to 3 at a time. If you make them all record at once, you can also boost the challenge requirements. For example, have a kill enemies challenge with multiple ranks (1-5 maybe) and have kill 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000 enemies. Then have them worth 1 star, 2 stars, and so on to give the levelling up a "difficulty" curve. Second, make coins, fuel, and gems smaller and remove the collect shine that the player gets when they hit you. That effect is great, but lags the game horribly. Sometimes great effects can hurt a game more than enhance it. Thats a balance you have to find. And remove the bosses explosion duration. A couple blasts and a single LARGE coin would suffice. Good game overall, just needs tweaks!! 4/5!
I love this game, but if an enemy touches a gem it means you immediately lose the 3 star ranking for that mission... Sorry but that is rather ridiculous, especially in later levels. If I save all 5 gems, that should be good enough IMO. Still, 5/5 game even with the insane difficulty
When that record started skipping my only thought was "well this'll be annoying hearing it through the house..." Then it stops and I'm like "YAY" only to walk back in the room and be like "OH HELL NOOO!" Did anyone else avoid that room like the plague after seeing that? I never went back into it, I don't even know if you die if you go back in, or if the crows disappear. All I know is that once that happened, I took the long way around every time to avoid that room!
And of course, I post yesterday about wishing there was a rare item shop, and what to I find today... The secret shop full of said items and awesome gear hahaha!
This game is great in a lot of ways but could use improvements as well. First, a sell function would be greatly appreciated. Second, the availability of rare items for sale would be nice, like silver ore and etc. Third, the hunter rank rises wayyyy too slowly imo. It would be nice to progress faster in the beginning to get to better gear, helps keep the player playing as well. And lastly, not necessary but would improve things even further, a higher quality setting. This game had a perfect BGM, great gameplay, and high potential to become one of the most notable RPG games on Kong. Coupling what you have now, with some tweaks and quality changes would propel this game (and series hopefully!!!) to new and much deserving heights! 5/5
Woops, mis-typed that comment, should be 400. but still, having to buy hundreds of hammers just to furnish the house gets tedious, expensive, and takes up too much inventory space
