Im too lazy to browse forums to check, but the Club reward is invalid. I've more than once had a legendary drop from a chest, only to have my club reward be a lvl 3 common divine weapon. Which absolutely blows. I feel cheated out of my awesome bonus drops somehow.
The club reward's guaranteed rarity is the highest guaranteed rarity in the chest - not the highest rarity of item that drops in the chest. So, for instance, if your chest guarantees a rare, the club reward will be rare or better. But if your chest only guarantees a common, then the club reward will be common or better, even if a rare happens to drop in the chest.
