I have a question if the aground kongregate progress data can be passed to the steam demo or connected in some way so that the data is not lost?

You can go to Options -> Export Save, then import it into Steam, or use Aground Cloud (which will sync all your saves on all versions of the game you're logged in on).
Log in to access your games, badges, and more. Create an account to track your progress, earn badges, and join the community.
Use at least 10 characters with a mix of uppercase, lowercase, & numbers
