A fun game built around a cool concept. However, there is not much strategic depth, especially once you settle on a team of beasts that you are comfortable with - in the end, even the final battles were walkovers for my team of cyclops. Definitely has a lot of potential both in terms of gameplay and possible narrative. Hope to see a sequel soon with more depth. 3/5

A fantastically original game concept that is very well executed. There are a few bugs(like occasional copy that doesn't synchronise perfectly) but for the most part it plays out flawlessly. Very impressive.

A fun little game but one that doesn't offer much variety of replayability. At higher levels (particularly the bonus levels) luck seems to play a more significant role than skill (at least initially). All in all, something different from most games here, but nothing dramatically awesome. 3/5

Can't say I really see what all the fuss is about. The game is OK. Nice clean visuals. A storyline with potential (I will reserve judgment until future episodes are received). My biggest beef is the gameplay: it's very repetitive with little variety. Sure, the scenery and enemies change, but basically it's a case of beat bad guys and get bigger weapons to beat bigger bad guys. So the numbers get bigger and bigger, but the gameply never changes. 3/5.

A very polished execution of a timeless game concept. Flawless visuals and audio. Challenging puzzles, but enough clues to ensure that it isn't just point-and-click guesswork. A pity it couldn't be longer - I look forward to future renditions.

Simply superb - 5/5. Epic storyline that embraces comedy, drama, heroism, and tragedy. Believable character development. Intuitive gameplay controls that reward both skill and strategy. Tons of hidden secrets and rewards. Plenty of replayability. I would play this game through even if it had no badges. Please bring out chapter 3 soon!

I'm not a fan of the entire Thing Thing series. The gameplay is monotonously repetitive and the storyline is non-existent. At least this one had some challenging (if tedious) sections and you don't have to start from scratch if you die. The visuals are very impressive. The rest is just meh. 2/5.

No gameplay variation (all you do is walk, shoot, and jump). No challenge (you don't even need to jump over enemies - just walk past them). No story (just a bunch of repetitive levels strung together). No big finale (the boss just stood there killing the grunts for me while I shot it). Horrible. 1/5.

I agree with raehl311 that the maxed out mage strategy appears to work best and makes the game too easy (definitely tone down the 25% attack speed increase!) however, to say that the game has no strategic variety is just plain wrong. if you are playing this game for fun and not just to earn the badges as quickly as possible then there is tremendous variety and replayability: different units, generalising vs specialising, and different skill tree choices. this is without a doubt one of the best tower defence games i have played and well deserving of five stars. the skill tree is particularly brilliant and keeps the game interesting until the very end. i really hope the creator brings out a sequel with more maps and options.

I HATE platformers so when I started this game, it was with a great deal of trepidation and resentment that so many badges had been assigned to it. Initially I found the controls frustrating, but it didn't take too long for them to become familiar, intuitive, and a joy to use - simple and elegant! And, visually, the game is stunning. Perhaps future sequels could include optional difficulty levels that provide more obstacles and enemies? I would also like to see more balance and choice in the various levels. Shortcuts and alternative routes for experienced veterans would be welcome, as well as more opportunities for under-used movements like sliding (there are a handful of places in the game where sliding is critical compared to, say, jumping which is critical throughout). Thank you for taking the time to craft such an enjoyable gaming experience, and for assigned the perfect badges to encourage players like myself who hate platformers to give this one a go.

OK, so this game definitely has some major glitches that are already well documented. However, I persevered and as I got into it I enjoyed this game more and more. It was very satisfying when I finally achieved the badge - I am more than happy to help out anyone who may be having difficulty completing this game.

The hard badge is absolutely ridiculous. There is no warning when new targets appear and the speed with which they appear increases far too early. Furthermore, because of the random generation, it is impossible to predict which targets will be appearing when. So basically this game is about 90% luck and 10% aiming using an unintuitive, repetitive targeting system.

For the love of all that is holy, PLEASE tone down the amount of screen shaking. It becomes simply unplayable and seizure-inducing towards the end. A fun and challenging game otherwise.
