I've noticed it's really easy to destroy enemy tanks by having a few assault squads and spamming grenades at them. Also maintains effectiveness against infantry so in many ways superior to the bazooka team.
I'm detecting a lot of Fallout references. First there's the 'Read books to level up' mechanic, the 'Bloody Mess' achievement possibly a reference to the perk of the same name in Fallout 3. Correct me if I'm wrong (this could just be coincidence) but I'm not so sure.
(SAS general goes to a gun shop) "Hey, zombies have taken over the world and we need weapons to fight them, can you give us some?
(Cheap ass store owner) "I'll give you MP-5s at 300 dollars a pop"
(SAS General) "We're screwed."
Here's a tip, on hardcore (realistic, whatever you want to call it) It is really worth investing all your funds into both the mods and at least the second scope. I used exclusively bolt action, because they are cheaper but have a higher accuracy. Still, if you prefer a different strategy, use that, but this is what worked for me.
A letter is posted through the letterbox of one Russian soldier. He tears it open and reads, "You are going to serve in a battle with our finest tank driver. He has never lost a fight and is usually the last man standing."
Russian thinks, "How bout I commit suicide instead?"
Both players just spam the land of plenty card and Myrkin Bureaucrats and they both become invincible as their health breaches the 100 mark! There should be a limit on how many Land of Plenty cards can be in play at once.
so let me get this straight... You're a Russian heavy tank deep in Nazi territory, the Germans are on the verge of surrender and you're leading an assault on a poorly defended German village... and all of your support is destroyed within the first few seconds???
So you hold your breath and your grip tightens around the butt of your pistol, the timer clocks to zero, you draw as quick as lightning and get shot in the head by the first opponent? How?
