TwistedEar, everything you said makes little to no sense. How do internet protests ALLOW these bills to go through? That makes absolutely no sense. This was a pretty accurate depiction of what the internet will be like if either of those bills pass.
I think I broke the game.
I am Guardian. I talked to the first heartstone guy and got his quest. Went to cave. Talked to guy outside cave. Told me to kill peeps inside cave. Killed peeps inside cave. Completed quest. Now my map is pointing me to the field with the cave on it... I've gone through the cave and killed everything three or four times. I'm not sure what to do. Guy outside cave doesn't have a circle, but I still have the heartstone piece quest.
What's going on? T_T
Really fun and addicting game. I have to say, though, one extremely annoying part was that I could not tell what buffs were on my character during battle (no visible way to do so), so I basically had to keep track of everything in my head... which is difficult to do when you have a bunch of different shields, damage amplifiers, and regenerators going on.
Please add a way to identify what buffs are currently active on your character :P and maybe even the enemy, too.
Love the game. But as in all things upon our world, there are faults.
The one I found most odd was the fame system. Good system for regulating what dungeons you go to and what defense quests you can take... but it's pretty imbalanced. By time I had gotten through all the green dungeons, I had access to every dungeon on the map.
Don't upgrade max mana. If you do, you'll be able to upgrade your mana a lower amount of times during a battle (because your mana will reach 9,999 quicker). If you never upgrade max mana, you'll have a much higher mana regen rate endgame.
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but I'm having an issue with spell swapping as the wizard. I was running around with all five of my spell slots filled, when I came across the "Magic Armor" spell. I wanted to replace one of my other spells, "Enfeeble Monster", with this "Magic Armor" spell. However, when I tried to swap them, it said, "Use an empty cell to swap items!" So, I tried simply removing the "Enfeeble Monster" spell, then moving the "Magic Armor" spell to the empty slot. This gave me the same response.
So, next, I tried moving the "Enfeeble Monster" spell back (which actually worked), and then dragging it from my spell slot over the inventory slot containing "Magic Armor". This also gave me the same response.
I might be missing something, but if I am, it should not be this complicated to switch spells :(
I'm disappointed that they added the "option" to pay for "more skills and battle settings". In reality, they took away some of the skills and "modes" that were in previous games, and will only give these things back if you pay for it. Take a look at the skills and battle settings that are limited to Premium - a lot of them are oddly familiar to previous game skills and modes that were ALWAYS available.
I've been playing for five minutes and already found a major (bug?): I can't level up my character. Every time I hit "confirm", just... nothing happens. Like, really?
First of all, I'm pretty sure the guy creating these games is going to create a LOT of them in small portions. Not every single chapter might have a boss. It's a flash game, it's not going to be super perfect and the best game you have ever played. Just about ever flash game in existence comes down to repetitiveness and "just to beat it". I give the guy props for his polished character / enemy models, simple yet fun dungeons, and humorous dialogue. This is also just a little project for the author, not an attempt to create the best game flash has ever seen.
Why is it that everytime I remove a card from my deck, it disappears for good? I didn't rip it up, it just disappears.
This is just a little ridiculous.
Haha, it's alright. I had just killed a Gelfizz and ended up with one shield from the backlash. I started drilling the block directly behind it to get to a secret room I saw on the edge of the screen and "boom", drillboid gone :)
Haha, you didn't completely remove gas pockets. I just hit one and died, and it wasn't even in a far off place. It was a rock that was in between me and a secret cave.
To all the people saying it's too short: this is a series. This particular part is EPISODE ONE. That means it was SUPPOSED to be short. As in, an introduction. The coming episodes will surely be LONGER and HARDER. Good game, bro =D 5/5
