After you complete a room, look for little holes in the walls that have a little bit of light shining through them. If you go to it. you'll be taken to an area with 4 chests, each one containing pretty good items, but they aren't free. You'll need 40 black coins for each item, they are an uncommon drop from enemies. (I've only found one so far, and it was at a dead end, so maybe you should try searching dead ends.
