The briefest of all updates on the possibility of a sequel, xdanond was recently active on his twitter account posting a new character for a "secret project". Almost 7 years later, even if it isn't a sequel, it would still be another xdanond game.
It has been about a year since I last spoke to xdanond about Starwish. At the time he still had plans to make a sequel, though he was working on other projects as well and a sequel was low on the priority list. However, he was kind enough to mention that there was already scriptwriting being done, and was kind enough to send concept art as well, so there is still hope for a sequel.
To all of those still asking for a sequel almost five years later, there is good news. The developer has been working on various other projects, none of which are related to Starwish, but once those are completed still plans to continue working on a sequel to this game when their other projects are finished. By continue working on a sequel, I mean to say there is already some work put into the sequel. When it will come out is anyones guess, but the long and the short of it is a sequel is still very likely for this game.
Heard about EBF5 coming out (praise the lord) and swung back by here to play and the start menu alone brings back oh so many feels. Gotta love the music. Love the game, can't wait for the fifth.
In this, you endlessly run from zone to zone, fighting orcs, goblins, ratmen, the undead, frost trolls, and dragons, gathering nigh infinite loot that can only really be used to further improve your character's ability to fight aforementioned monsters. You develop a strange need to max out your character and waste unthinkable amounts of time doing so. In Skyrim, you endlessly run from zone to zone, fighting orcs, falmer, lizardmen, catmen, the undead, frost trolls, and dragons, gathering nigh infinite loot that can only really be used to improve your character's ability to fight aforementioned monsters. You develop a strange need to max out your character's skills and waste unthinkable amounts of time doing so. My conclusion, this game and Skyrim are basically the same game, they just have different graphics.
In answer to your question jaceevoke, the reason is because he starts out at level 1, and getting to level 5 requires you to gain four levels. At least to me this seems like the most logical reason.
So the boy kills here, becomes a necromancer to revive her, gets here shot by an arrow, and she STILL loves him... I think he may have had somethin going on with cupid to make this story turn out ok...
