I tryed playing the game again and this time i sucessfully evolved my species called Inneae malamenae and i pushed one of them away from the species before them and then it evolved and made a new species..but there all terrestial
Very cool! Evolution in Vilmonic can sometimes be very slow, and you may never evolve a more aquatic species. One thing you could try is removing all dry land, leaving only marsh. Make a whole lot of cola and drink it all to speed up the simulation. You can also just let the game run over night and see how the world changed in the morning!
The red fungols are used to create red brick walls and red brick floors, and COLA! You can drink cola to get hyper and drastically speed up the simulation. Each bottle of cola lasts about 30 seconds, but you can drink as many bottles as you want and they add up. Cola also counteracts the effects of zombititus you get when you are attacked by zombitons. You need to use artificial selection (breeding) by harvesting the most red fungols and planting them and harvesting their reddest offspring and repeating until you finally have pure red ones. Analyzing them using the microscope will let you know when you are done (their description will say "This species has industrial uses")
The anims can get pretty different already. From giant slow moving slug-like creatures to tall long-legged ones to tiny ant-like and more. But sometimes it can be hard to find the right conditions to evolve the really odd ones. To speed up the evolution process, you can luck out and dig up a toxic waste barrel (much easier to do in the full version of the game), or even better, breed the ones that start to look different by moving them off to an empty location so they will be less stressed and more likely to reproduce. You can even resort to culling the creatures you don't want, but that is a bit extreme.
