yeah, I was loving it but when the game reversed itself on the 3rd "reflection" level nothing showed up, and I jumped into a pit to try and reset the level...which just made the whole thing freeze up. Very disappointed, as I was enjoying it up to that point.
Due to the same-price transactions, you can just sell and rebuy your skiff at the beginning with no loss to you to earn a quick 5 upgrade stars and start you out with an advantage.
"Ms. Jane stone is a 74 year old female with an episode of syncope" *Looks at patient* ...a young blonde with large, non-saggy breasts and a ditzy smile? Wow, why are we not schooling ourselves in plastic surgery, that's obviously where the big money is in this universe.
Regardless, great game, both fun AND informative.
The game was great, but the hipsters thing broke it for me. It was too vague; I just let my approval rating drop figuring that was what you needed, but when I was at -50 and still no hipsters I looked it up and saw I needed 0-star ranks. And, because of the scrappy rating mechanic, it's neigh impossible to get back up. I loved it up till then, but that just kinda ruined it for me.
Oh god, this was one of my first games ever over on addicting games. It led me to mausland's site proper, which contained some games of...questionable nature that I was...not quite old enough to understand (CoughFrankCough) so I can also credit this game for ridding me of my childish nieveity!
The moment I heard the boss theme, I was launched onto an internet-wide search for half an hour, because I was *certain* I had heard it before. Finally, I found it-Fandrey, the guy who apparently made your music, used it as the theme to a short bullet hell called Dirgantara-first phase. It's been remixed, to be sure (dunno which came first, this or that), but it was really fun to hear the tune again. Then I realized that one of the devs, Altierlucid, has it up on his Kong account and I had a blast playing it again. Thanks fo that!
When I killed spidey, I was expecting to get Carnage as a special zombie. Venom's all well and good, but he's a completely different person so it didn't make much sence.
Details aside, great game, although after a bit the towns get a bit repetitive.
How the hell has the medium badge been obtained more than the easy one? C'mon, guys, why bother using this site is you're going to hack it? Getting the things is supposed to be a fun acomplishment; they have no intrinsic value and no one gives a darn if you finished the "best of 2009" quest. Just play the game, it's freaking brilliant.
For some reason, opening the "cargo" tab caused my game to whack out; now the game only plays when it's open and pauses when I try to close it. It's quite annoying.
Actually, I'm pretty sure the "touhou project" level features bullets from another bullet hell...can't remember the name exactly, but it involved switching polarities so that you'd be immune to one type of bullet at a time.
I did get a kick out of level (version?) 18's Super meat boy gimick, though.
This is the first BotD I can't get. Only because my monitor is about twice as dark as anyone else's, though, making it physically impossible to see...anything...with shades.
