I'm spending trillions of dollars to reduce the size of each unit, to fit more and more in to one shipping container. Wouldn't it be cheaper to just get more containers at this point?
So, one of the previous comments is that fighting based quests were the indisputable champion, and paid out much much more. It's now the opposite. Finding quests are much more valuable, and once I went from a mostly fighitng quest line to a mostly searching quest line, I started raking in the gold and regretting that I had to have any fights. This is because of the cooldown timer on fights, which doesn't exist on searches. It forces people to wait for the same time, no matter how strong or many people are waiting, where as searches gold per minute increase with the number of people and how high level they are.
Good game. Couple of notes from me. First, the upgrade system just seems a bit broken. I'm pouring resources in to buildings, but they never get more efficient. I just expect a level 2 water pump to take up 5-10% less energy than a level 1 pump. It just seems odd that costs increase exponentially, but requirements increase linearly. Another is that there's no electric factory for just logs. Meaning no electric way to get charcoal. My third is that it would make more sense to combine the electric and normal buildings in to one. So rather than separate buildings, electricity just increases productivity of an existing building. Just some thoughts
Pretty sure I just came across a bug where I was in an endless war. Sometime in my early 200's, I chose to go to war with some people or whatever, I think my population was struggling to hit 80k. I'm now in turn 800, and I've been at war the whole time. 100% threat, every turn. I have, however, managed to grow during this time. I now have 1.9M people, although this fluctuates when I get hit hard by slavers.
It was interesting for a while. Having to survive and grow while never getting a time to rest. But it's become boring, rote, and I miss the good events, like traders or land gains or such. Oh well
Hey, got a bug for you. In the opening scene, where you explain the last game, if you switch to another tab while it's playing, the audio will continue but it seems like the video will not. So when you switch back, they're out of sync
I fought survival, and almost won. I'd fought the creepers and cornered them to 1/4 of the battlefield, and gaining ground slowly. After two hours they finally managed to break through in one area and wipe out my entire supply lines. But it got a bit weird towards the end.
In the end, I was collecting 50 energy, using only 40 energy (all on blasters), I had a 140 energy in storage, but for some reason I STILL had a 90 energy deficit. For some reason, no matter what I did, even though I collected much more energy than I spent, I couldn't get rid of that deficit
"Sir, the Janitors are exhausted and slightly miserable with their job" |
"Alright, double their pay and hire more" |
"We don't have stations and we're already paying them $40" |
"Well, we don't need them to sleep in the stations, just hire more, and pay them $80" |
"Sir, they actually do sleep there, and they refuse to accept more" |
"What? I'm trying to make them happy, JUST GIVE THEM MONEY!"
I'm constantly surprised that:
The burger doesn't break up as soon as it's kicked
It doesn't burn up on re-entry
It survives being shot at, burned, frozen and hit by anvils
Anvils can fly
I haven't received any lawsuits
The air-force hasn't come to shoot down my edible ballistic missiles aimed at people
People are HAPPY to see the burger, after everything it's been through
I haven't hit any planes
This week in news: Entire valley gets food poisoning. While the exact course is being investigated, everyone who was infected reports having eaten a burger fallen from the sky, covered in grass, dirt, bird poop and containing a magnet. The CDC is investigating possible poisons that cause hallucinations
While using Chrome on Ubuntu, I find myself unable to fight either horses or ducks. It just tells me to fight them. Over and over and over. I'm all for killing, murdering and maiming fictional animals, if only I COULD do it
I think this game would be perfect for some sort of natural skill system, atleast for blacksmith. IE: The more you do it, the better you get. Just because blacksmithing past level 3 seems to require ALOT of AP
The maximin stat you can get for anything (total resources, total souls, max level etc...) is 2,147,483,647. Why? Because that is the largest number the game can hold. Once you go over that, it goes to -2,147,483,647
Dude, this game is so awesomely hardcore! It's like, amazing BRO! It's the best thing evar! I was like, playing it this one time, and there were zombies, and I died, but the popup screen said I won yo! And then, there's that whole imbalancement issue thing, where you can't shoot fast enough, because no body bothered adjusting the settings to suit the game when programming, YA DIG?
In short, Game = Suck
Earth should be your last planet.
One planet has a mouth to go into, touch all the crystals with your toungue without touching the center of the planet
One planet is really hard to move it, there are four thingys above it sucking on it, keep moving through them over and over to make them sneeze
One planet is made of water. Swim down and eat the fish
One planet has a guy with two heads, there are five moons, jump on them and wait for them to go into the ground
The last planet just smashed as I went through it. I dunno what happened.
So, they overhaul the graphics and it STILL looks like they pulled it out of a timemachine set to 2002?
My old computer coulda played this and that's about 5 years old. For gods sake!
Thanks! Well, it was done in just a coulpe of days. I didn't notice counter to be off though....
