Enemies visually disappear when killed, but their hitbox remains, which will block player tank and bullets and also deal contact damage, you gain two kills per tank killed so you only have to kill half of the stage's enemies to advance. Very broken game already just due to those.
Kind of unbalanced in weapon design, but very fun. Running Striker/Berretta/Adrenaline/Reflect and dominating an Insane Juggernaut round on Foundry is still incredibly difficult, even as one of the best mid-level builds in the game.
