When the game ends and lined boxes start falling heavenward, just remember to find and click on the immobile grey boxes. Else you'll be wondering why the game isn't completed and the badge received.
OMG. 71 people were uninfected in Greenland when the vaccine went into effect. Yet despite the rest of the world being dead by the end of the game, and a hurricane hitting Greenland, these 71 people somehow managed to keep everything running.
So after coming back to play this game for the umpteenth time, I decided I'd name my disease Dust Mites, sell its starting symptom and leave the game on the fastest setting for awhile. I come back with every country infected except Argentina! I promptly up the transmission and it gets in their no problem. By the end of the game, the entire world is dead with symptoms such as: Sneezing, Coughing, Fever, Sweating, Vomiting, Fatigue, Diarrhea, Nausea, Pulmonary Edema, Dementia, Hypersensitivity, Ataxia, and Depression. The morale of this story is beware the Dust Mites!
Made it to Mars, then did it again, but this time I flew back to Earth after landing. I discovered something interesting; something everyone should try out: get to the top of earth's atmosphere, and then nudge some object like a UFO. Then travel back down to the surface of earth as fast as you can. Something weird (but also very cool and extremely comical) happens where a ton of debris of all sorts will suddenly fall on you. It reminds me of the movie Gravity. It is either a bug in how the game handles falling object data or whatever. I hope the programmer doesn't remove it, though.
5/5 Love this game/sim. Some things that came to mind while I was playing: I really wish I could join/disjoin my squads to utilize human resources more efficiently; I want to interact with the gunned simpletons to get them to join up with me; hot keys for the groups; and, I wish there were more loot (like shotguns) I could pickup. (The simpletons have shotguns- I hear and see them! Why can't I pick the gun up once they're dead?)
Really liking the game. One thing, though... could you adjust the steam (created from water + torch etc.) to be more fluid and created 1:1? For example, the steam won't move around rock suspended above but just sit there. Also, wouldn't it be more realistic if for every particle of steam, a particle of water were eventually created? Conservation of mass? As an extra a side, I think it would be really cool if the game had cloud creation with some hot and cold wind makers... tornado anyone!
