What's not to love about walking round France hitting the rich until they pay their taxes? Good concept, could have done better on the execution though, 4/5 overall. Think it could be improved by localisation into English (the dialogue looks witty but my GCSE French is a bit rusty) and more responsive controls - apart from some input lag, I'd also have appreciated the shake and throw moves to be assigned to different keys, and the up arrow used for a jump instead - would be handy to escape the capitalist mobs ganging up on you.
Politically: Phillipe Poutou has better memes (and policies), but a strong effort from Mélenchon nonetheless.
Creepy game. I haven't played Metroid for years. The last Metroid I played was Metroid Prome on the Wii. Pretty creepy too. Nothing like the NES days though...
Is there a reason the leaderboard goes backward? Considering you lose points for dying or taking too long, and gain points for percent completion, why is it peaking at -165,000?
Cos I got like -2,600 and its a "high" score apparently.
great game, addicitive too, needs badges though. I got what happened to warriorwhitey - most floors disappeared, only elevators left, and when I refreshed, there was no savegame.
Ah, now I get it. Even if you complete L51, it stays the same. the only reason there is a 51 is so that the badge level counter can tick over from 50. Plus, has anyone noticed that it could be an Area 51 reference, as it kinda looks like crop circles? Tell me what you think.
Finally! Level 50! The only thing is; it isn't the end of the game. In the description it says that it is 30 levels plus 20 made with a different editor. Does anyone know if there is actually end or if it randomly generates levels to infinity (or 999) or something like that?
pretty good game. people are right, its simple but addictive. I'm just 5 five levels from the hard badge :) too bad I played for 2 days without knowing about the mute button :(
great game, though perhaps it should show you what you got "wrong" afterwards, so that you can memorise them. I'm trying to get the last badge, but I can't get past level 5 cos my african knowledge lets me down. brazil is a fair cop, but at least it should say east/west russia, ect, when naming some random russian town, because in an area that size its a guaranteed level-loser.
damn, made me lose the game. had a spasm fit after 1111 headbangs in 200 seconds which caused me to hit my head against my monitor screen... etcetera... then I started to see this crazy shit for real
There is no shield, just stop bullets/tank shells/bombs with your tall body. WARNING-SPOILER: To get the badge, just be the first to die, leaving all the family alive. (There is no destination like a bunker or a forest or anything, which is what I thought originally.)
~~~URGENT~~~
level 4 wasn't hard.
level 4 has one strategy:
-dont move anything, just let your mortar truck take out the spider tanks in the open as they approach (1 hit kill) till they run out of money, but dont shoot the spider tanks in mountains unless u have a spare unit as 1 mortar hit won't kill it.
-then slowly advance, but protecting the mortar truck above all other units
forget about blockades or buildings. they're not important
-only the mortar truck cn take out the scorpion tank behing the mountains. what u do is surround the factory so they can't make more spider tanks, then get the mortar in range and blow up the last unit.
PS
for other levels...
-CHOKEHOLDS (go to bootcamp)
I have won every Battallion game like this.
-if it wasn't obvious, first weaken all enemies an use a vulture to finish them off. they sure got pwned...
oh, and btw did u know that a lancer can have friendly fire?
