This game is actually rather inspired. It needs a 2.0v with some updated graphics. Not a lot, just something that looks better on a bigger screen, and smoother when the speed up researches start coming in.
For the Developer: Is there an update that allows for prioritizing of the fire teams target acquisition? Such as having the pulse pistol prioritize weaker hp cubes first, and have the rifle prioritize higher value cubes. Just a thought.
Frankly the only thing that is 'idle' in this game is the combat, and that's probably the one place when I want to have some control over my units. My Samurai taking a shot at a fully healed freshly minted knight, while he leaves another knight alive with only one hitpoint left, so that weakened knight can get one more turn of doing damage to me... really bad AI tactics.. just saying.
The Game is fun, and it seems alright except that there may be an exploit or two, that is not hard to discover. :D I've managed to sail through some 50 enemies with marginal trouble or effort. I recommend double checking for glitches, otherwise a great game.
i think it would also be nice if touch if you could upgrade the secondary soldiers that spawn, maybe even make them spawn faster...
The game has lots of promise though, and add a bunch more levels..
I also like the idea about choosing which side to play, aliens or soldiers...
