I have the insect nest in the desert as my first quest, explored the desert many times over and cannot find somewhere other than the main pyramid to clear out. I've completed the pyramid dungeon and killed the queen, but can't complete the quest.
The money and exp boosts need some scalar factor, like the power boost does. The flat 10% is not nearly enough at higher levels, where getting a level can take 5+ hours (with an auto clicker.) The passive auto click should go way past 50/sec, assuming it doesn't cause game instability. The "Ultimate Upgrade" is also very weak, as it only works on the passive auto clicks.
Decent Idle game, few things that could be better. Gold becomes useless after you buy the last furnace, you can still use it for the pots, but you easily make enough from battles and rent for them, so you just dump gold into the useless sink of improving rent. Being able to eventually buy crafting items would be nice, even if they were extremely expensive. Golems and Callasites have a really stupid amount of HP, obviously they drop the best crafting items, but they have like 30-40x the amount of normal mobs and drop rates are abysmally low. The fact that lower tier drops also phase out as you go higher is also annoying, as you always spend the top tier crafting material on your weapon, it leaves you with left over copper/iron ore that you can't smelt to improve your armor.
I'm having a problem loading the game. When it loads it completely skips the intro animation and goes to the first battle and gives me the error, An Error occured while contacting the server. Reload the page and get back to the fight! with a Continue box below it. When I click the continue box the game does not reload. I've tried on Firefox, Chrome and IE and gotten the same error. I can however play with a random second account I created, and can also play the facebook version. Is there any known way to fix the bug I'm having so I can play on my main Kongregate account?
Hi there Genoside! Could you send us an email to social@ashtaria.com?
Just copy what you wrote here in the email, specify that you play on Kongregate and also attach your ID, which is shown under the game window; this way, we can start investigate the problem!
Thanks!
The double jump seems really unreliable, ill go to double jump and it'll already have considered me using it. Also when you level your jump up high or fully you seem to take a lot of damage jumping into things that weren't on your screen previously.
Game showed promise, but ended up being a disappointment. Way too many stats that are completely useless (Mana Drain, Burn, Loot Chance, Stealing, Life Leech, Skill Gain, Enhance Potions/Scrolls, Increase Fame, Corrupt Armor, Bleed.) Especially against stats like Protection, Pierce, Hit, Damage Increase and Critical. The bloat of stats causes gear to be complete garbage most of the time. Skillgain being based off of RNG is just stupid, and 1 point gains after 500 makes for incredibly slow leveling, and an asinine amount of grinding. Crafting recipes need to drop far, far more often. Buying the same 10 recipes from the shop to get a new one is ridiculous. Overall great thought for the game, but incredibly poor execution.
2/5, Game has a lot of potential. Seems the author added quite a few things since the last game, but didn't really put the time into them. Many of the skills don't work at all or just don't do what they're supposed to. Much of the game cannot even be played during the 12-18 phase (I continued playing and am on week 1114 and still do pitiful damage in some of the red dungeons.) Resting does take up a massive amount of time, leveling up the gardens quickly is important. The stitching/smithing not being available through some other way than schooling is ridiculous, on top of the items you craft being garbage anyway (which is extremely stupid.)
Decent game, need to be able to move much faster(like a mount or something.) Also the fact that Shoot Arrow takes energy is really terrible, when you start having to fight 2-3 you start running out of energy just from using your regular attack. Also need to make the merchants sell more gear, my ranger was using stuff from level 4 at level 27 because of no luck on drops.
The nest is a hole inthe ground. When you see it, go into it and you enter the quest level.
