Hi phatpile, unfortunately due to MochiGames closing the version of the drum machine on Kongregate has reverted to V1 which doesn't have the save/load functionality
The timing is a bit screwy for a couple of seconds then calms down to a proper steady beat.
If you've got lots of tabs/apps open then the timing will be constantly messed up.
I've got the basics of a click to move system working, I'll get a new version uploaded tomorrow. If anyone's designed a cool course then feel free to share it on the forums.
You can play with less than the maximum number of human players so you can have just you verses the computer. Playing against lots of Computer Players isn't that interesting as they all tend to take the same route but I'll add the option in to play against multiple computer players if people want it.
Sorry about the typo but Kong don't seem to be letting me upload a new version at the moment.
A better (with diagrams and line breaks and everything) description of the movement rules can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lines_of_Action
Lack of line breaks makes the movement description read a bit confusing. I'll work on producing a bunch of example images for the "How to Play" page.
Basically it comes down to counting the number of pieces in the line you are moving on, so for example, if you move D1 south then here a total of 2 pieces on that line so it can move 2 squares.
Thanks for the comments.
Maybe I'll add an extra 5 seconds of time per level.
I can almost 100% guarantee* that all levels are solvable, on the next version I'll get the game to display a valid solution when you fail a level.
(*) This is not a guarantee
