Okay! I'm pretty tired of working on this game though (After 2 days of non-stop work, it get's tiring), but if I go back to it, I will definitely try to make that not happen.
Since this is a "practice game" I will constructive-criticize you to death! First of all you did a good job with the glow effect it wasn't too bright or dark, or too big (I also liked the fact that you disabled them after collection), secondly you're jumping-from-a-ledge physics are a little messy (you get catapulted backwards), also the camera is set to low on the character (it almost touches the ground). I did like the fact that you added the three special items, they made the game just that much better...
I used the "First Person Controller" Unity object, since it was a good start. And the catapulting steep jump is there to keep the player from climbing the tall mountains (i.e. you must find a way around and climb it elsewhere).
@EDIT: Also, with this feature, you can do some wall jumps on the terrain (some cubes require it to be collected, unless you have the high jump device).
This is probably the best game I have EVER played! I have had this feeling of longing in my guts for the longest time, and this probably just entirely satisfied it! Now me being a game designer myself (However my games are in German, not good for Kon), I looked into the background of this game a bit. when i threw it backwards not just my internet crashed but my computer with it.... mostly cause i already used up most my temporary memory but you know....
I like that it plays itself you can sit back and watch.... almost like in fable 3 when youi wait to have enough money to donate so you can save the Kingdom while sitting in a bean bag and reading a book about dwarves and dragons and mages^^ I LOVE THIS!!!!!
